Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna’s adorable nickname is revealed by Edo Mapelli Mozzi’s glamorous architect ex Dara Huang

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s ex-fiancée has revealed the sweet nickname he and Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, have been given.

Dara Huang, who shares seven-year-old son Christopher Woolf, better known as Wolfie, with Edo, revealed the title in a comment on her ex-partner’s birthday tribute to Sienna.

Property developer Edo shared an adorable photo of his daughter on Instagram to mark her second birthday, with the 39-year-old captioning it: ‘Harry birthday baby girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day.”

In the photo, Sienna, who is facing away from the camera, wears a sombrero and a long-sleeved gown with a red floral print as she walks barefoot along a path covered in soft material.

Commenting on the image, glamorous American architect Dara wrote: ‘Happy birthday Cece’, alongside red heart emojis.

Beatrice and Edo’s daughter, who is currently tenth in line to the throne, turned two on September 18.

Royal fans first saw Sienna earlier this year when her aunt, Princess Eugenie, posted a photo on Instagram of the toddler with her cousin August (Eugenie’s eldest son) as they appeared mesmerized by the penguin enclosure at London Zoo.

Weighing 2.5kg, Sienna arrived at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital at 11.42pm on September 18, 2021 in London.

Sienna is a name of Italian origin, perhaps chosen because of its Edo roots. It means ‘orange-red’ and could also refer to the fiery hair of the Duchess of York.

Beatrice, who had a close relationship with her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, decided to honor her by including Elizabeth in Sienna’s name.

Although Beatrice is a princess, her daughter Sienna, the late queen’s twelfth great-grandchild, does not have a royal title.

Only grandchildren of the monarch through the male line are automatically entitled to the style of HRH. King Charles could grant a title to his grandniece if he wished, but it is unlikely that this would be requested.

Sienna currently ranks tenth in the royal line of succession, below her mother Princess Beatrice.

The change meant that Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, moved to eleventh in line.

However, Sienna will receive a title through her father’s family, as the toddler has other nobility in her blood.

Her father, Edo, is descended from the Italian aristocracy and will inherit the family seat, the 18th-century Villa Mapelli Mozzi palace in northern Italy.

This makes Beatrice and Sienna Italian ‘Contessas’ and ‘Nobile Donna’. Such titles are no longer officially recognized in Italy. However, they can still be used as a sign of respect.

When the couple announced Sienna’s name in October 2021, Edoardo shared a print of their daughter’s feet and wrote: ‘Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. Our life together is just beginning and I can’t wait to see all the wonderful things that await us.

“I feel so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and (her half-brother) Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget. This week a friend said the sweetest saying to me…. that with every child you get a whole new heart.’

Later, the royal family’s official social media page posted the same image, with the caption: “The couple said: ‘We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna.’

Sienna was baptized on April 29, 2022 in the Chapel Royal of St James’s Palace. It was revealed by Hello in May, nutritionist Gabriela Peacock is one of the godparents of the young royal family, with Beatrice also being godmother to her daughter Iris.
