Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna is ‘given starring role as flower girl’ in star-studded Chelsea wedding – as Duchess of York and Rebel Wilson pose for chummy photo

Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna reportedly landed a starring role as a flower girl at a lavish wedding in Chelsea this weekend.

Prince Andrew’s eldest daughter, 35, was joined by her mother Sarah Ferguson, 64, at the wedding of TV presenter Marissa Montgomery and her partner Jesse Brown.

For the occasion, Beatrice wore a blue floral midi dress by Erdem, a British fashion designer loved by the Princess of Wales, for her university friend’s wedding.

The pair are said to have met as students at Goldsmiths College, where Beatrice was a history student while Marissa was an English and Drama student.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of York was elegant in a double-breasted navy coat dress from Santinni, which she paired with some Chanel heels.

At the event at Chelsea Physic Garden, Sarah was pictured posing with Bridesmaids actress Rebel Wilson, who was accompanied by her mother and partner.

The 44-year-old actress looked suitably sophisticated in a long-sleeved floral midi dress with a matching chunky belt.

Her partner Ramona Agruma opted for a navy blue dress with a nautical theme, while Rebel’s mother Sue Bownds was chic in a black and white wrap dress.

The following day, Rebel shared photos and videos from the wedding – which was also attended by Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh – with her 11 million Instagram followers.

The star captioned the post: ‘Biggest congratulations to my dearest friend Marissa Montgomery who married the handsome Jesse Brown yesterday at Chelsea Gardens.

‘We love you! What a beautiful wedding.’

In Rebel’s video, Princess Beatrice is seen happily rising from her chair during the wedding breakfast and clapping her hands.

The royal also wore a flower crown, which reportedly belonged to her two-year-old daughter Sienna.

According to HELLO!both Sienna and Rebel Wilson’s daughter Royce were flower girls for Marissa.

Although no photos of Sienna emerged from the event, 18-month-old Royce was seen wearing a flower crown and a white dress with puffed sleeves and a light blue bow.

Earlier this year, Rebel Wilson raised eyebrows when she claimed a member of the royal family invited her to an orgy at the home of an American tech billionaire in 2014.

In her memoir, Rebel Rising, the Australian actress does not mention the royal family, but says they are “male” and “fifteenth or twentieth line from the throne.”

Surprisingly, Rebel is friends with some of the Firm’s members and rang in the New Year 2020 in her native Sydney with Zara and Mike Tindall.

The group was also joined by Prince Harry’s best friend Nacho Figureas – who has been dubbed the ‘David Beckham of Polo’ – and his wife Delfina Blaquier.

They celebrated the New Year while watching fireworks from a mansion overlooking the Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Rebel said she celebrated the new year with a “fun bunch.”

‘We crushed New Year’s Eve in Sydney! We are now in the future, in 2020!’ Rebel wrote on her profile.

‘What a great bunch to celebrate with and thanks to our wonderful hostess Heloise for throwing an amazing party with clearly the BEST views.’

Rebel later uploaded a dance party with Mike Tindall to her Instagram Stories, where the pair could be seen dancing side by side in front of a busy private bar.

The star is also friends with Prince Harry, but said she has had an awkward interaction with Meghan.

The Bridesmaids actress revealed they were introduced to the royal couple by a mutual friend and said that while Harry “couldn’t have been nicer”, Meghan “wasn’t that cool”.

“Meghan wasn’t that naturally warm,” she told host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in 2022.

However, Rebel admitted that Meghan’s cold attitude may have been due to her mother, Sue Bownds, asking her some personal questions.

‘My mother, who is Australian, would ask her all these slightly rude questions, like, “Where are your kids?” and things like that,” she said.

‘Maybe that’s why she asked, ‘Who are these nasty convicts from Australia?’ I said, “Mom, don’t ask her that,” she joked.

Rebel also mocked Harry and Meghan’s 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey while hosting the 2022 BAFTA Awards.

Rebel said in the video: ‘Our next package is for Outstanding British Film. From drama to horror to fantasy, Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah had it all.”
