Princess Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has shared a never-before-seen photo of them kissing at their wedding.
Prince Andrew’s 35-year-old eldest daughter married the property developer in 2020 and yesterday the couple celebrated their four-year wedding anniversary.
To mark their anniversary, 40-year-old Edo shared a never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photo from their picturesque wedding on Instagram.
The beautiful photo shows the newlyweds kissing hand in hand in a secluded spot in the woods.
Edo himself appears to be smiling in the cherished image – and he wrote a touching caption to go with it.

“Happy 4th wedding anniversary my love. Every day is so special with you. I love you so much,” he wrote in a personal message to his wife.
He also posted a photo of their wedding venue: the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Royal Lodge, Beatrice’s childhood home in Windsor Great Park.
Only 20 guests attended the wedding, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Sarah Ferguson, the Duke of York and Edo’s son Wolfie, whom he shares with his ex-fiancée Dara Huang.
It was a less extravagant celebration than sometimes seen with royal families due to Covid-19 restrictions at the time.
In contrast, Princess Eugenie’s wedding to marketing director Jack Brooksbank in 2018 included a carriage ride through Windsor, generating around £2 million in public spending.
In a moving tribute to her late grandmother, Princess Beatrice wore a Norman Hartnell dress, which Her Majesty first wore at a state banquet in Rome in 1961.
The vintage dress was carefully modelled for Beatrice by the Queen’s dresser Angela Kelly and designer Stewart Parvin.
Beatrice also wore the Queen Mary Diamond Fringe Tiara, which then-Princess Elizabeth showed at her wedding to Prince Philip on November 20, 1947.

The socially distanced event at the Royal Chapel of All Saints marked the first royal wedding behind closed doors in 235 years.
The chapel was decorated with pink and white delphiniums, roses, wax flowers and hydrangeas, brought from Windsor Great Park.
Beatrice carried a bouquet of trailing jasmine, pale pink and cream sweet peas, Royal Porcelina ivory spray roses, pink O’Hara garden roses, pink wax flowers, baby pink astilbe flowers and myrtle sprigs.
According to tradition, the bride sent her bridal bouquet to be laid to rest in the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey.
During the 30-minute service, Sarah Ferguson and Nikki Williams-Ellis, mothers of the bride and groom, read the couple’s favorite poems: I Carry You In My Heart by E.E. Cummings and Sonnet 116 by William Shakespeare.
Edoardo’s three-year-old son, Wolfie, played the roles of witness and page.
Prince Andrew, out of the spotlight after his disastrous Newsnight interview about his relationship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of sexual abuse, walked his daughter down the aisle but did not appear in the photos shared with the public.
Beatrice and Edoardo welcomed daughter Sienna in 2020 and were recently spotted together at Wimbledon.

They were present on the ninth day of the tennis championship and were seated in the Royal Box, where Beatrice warmly greeted reporter Stephen Fry.
The couple have had an exciting few weeks, attending a party hosted by tennis star Maria Sharapova, and travel to Glastonbury and BST Hyde Park.
It is believed that Beatrice met Italian property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in September 2018.
However, it is said that he had been close to the York family for some time and that they had known each other as children before Edo and the royal family became romantically involved.
He is the son of Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, a British Olympian and member of a former Italian noble family, and Nikki Shale.
The couple made their first public appearance together in 2019 at the National Portrait Gallery’s 2019 Gala. Not long after, he accompanied Beatrice on a family trip with Sarah Ferguson to the Bahrain Grand Prix in March of the same year.
It turned out to be a whirlwind romance, as the couple got engaged just eleven months after their first date in September 2019.
In a public statement, Beatrice and Mr Mapelli Mozzi said of their 11-month romance: ‘We are thrilled to share the news of our recent engagement.
For her big day, Beatrice wore a vintage Norman Hartnell dress and the Queen Mary Diamond Fringe Tiara, borrowed from her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Elizabeth wore the same tiara at her wedding to Prince Philip on November 20, 1947
‘We are both incredibly excited to embark on this life adventure together and can’t wait to actually get married.
“We share so many common interests and values, and we know that this will serve us well in the years to come, full of love and happiness.”
Beatrice’s sister Eugenie immediately rushed to share her joy on Instagram with a photo of the happy couple alongside the caption: ‘Beabea – wow! I am so happy for you, my dearest big sister and sweet Edo.
“It took a long time, but you two are meant for each other.”
The happy couple got engaged during a romantic trip to Italy, where they stayed in the exclusive village of Positano on the Amalfi Coast.

The couple have had a very busy few weeks, with several public appearances
After announcing their engagement, Edo increasingly accompanied Beatrice to royal events, including the Windsors’ annual Christmas service at the Sandringham Estate, before they tied the knot in July 2020.
In September 2021, they welcomed their first child, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, who is currently tenth in line to the British throne.
Although she has no royal titles, she will receive one through her father’s family, as he is descended from Italian nobility and will inherit the family seat, the 18th-century Villa Mapelli Mozzi palace in northern Italy.
Edo was engaged to Chinese-American architect Dara Huang in 2017 and the couple were together for three and a half years.
He also has a son, Wolfie, with his ex-fiancée, but they split in 2018, just weeks before rumors of a relationship between him and Beatrice surfaced.
