Prince William received license to get excited when he treated Kate for a ride in a James Bond-style Aston Martin given to him for a weekend test drive.
The Prince of Wales reportedly took his wife in an Aston Martin DBX707, from the carmaker beloved by Ian Fleming’s 007, for a secret ride around Norfolk.
This came after the Duke of Cambridge’s outfit of a velvet evening gown complete with a black bow tie in his £50m Earthshot prize drew comparisons to the secret agent.
With a top speed of 193mph, the £189,000 Aston is the world’s fastest SUV and the first production car to be built in South Wales in over half a century.

The four-year-old factory in South Wales created around 1,000 jobs to produce the speedy car.
In the secret agent franchise, Bond has driven four different Aston Martins, but the DBX707 has yet to appear in one of the movies.
The delivery of the SUV was “secret” and kept so secret that the secret service could have carried out the operation, a source told the outlet. Sun.
But after the delivery, Wills was seen whizzing down winding country lanes in north Norfolk, they added.
It was reportedly “no coincidence” that the car the Prince of Wales took for a drive was built in Wales by Welsh workers.

The Prince got to drive the car all weekend, but instead of jumping out of an ejection seat and crashing the car into a river like 007, he handed the keys back after his test drive.
William’s love for Aston Martins is not new. At his wedding in 2011, William drove his new wife in a vintage Aston decorated with balloons in the colors of the Union Jack as they left Buckingham Palace.
The Prince has also been considered to take over the Bond role from Daniel Craig after producer Barbara Broccoli joked that he would be the ‘perfect candidate’, after she gave him a CBE in July.
