Prince William will attend FA Cup final between Man City and Utd and will present trophy to the winners, Kensington Palace announces
Prince William will attend tomorrow’s FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium and present the trophy to the winners, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
The Prince of Wales, the chairman of the Football Association, will be in the Royal Box for the match between Manchester City and Manchester United from 3pm.
The 41-year-old’s presence at the showpiece event in north-west London in front of 90,000 fans was confirmed by palace officials at 9.30am this morning.
But royal aides did not say whether any of his children would join him after Prince George was spotted at Aston Villa matches earlier this season.
William’s wife Kate certainly won’t be there as she stays out of the public spotlight while she receives chemotherapy treatment for cancer.
