Prince William has ‘barely spoken’ to Prince Harry since news broke about his brother Spare’s memoir, royal experts say.

The royal family is also apparently in suspense to read the memoir, which will be out on January 10, and to have lawyers ready.

Prince William, 40, has barely spoken a word with his brother Harry, 38, since news of the book broke.

The controversial book, billed as a work of “rough, unwavering honesty,” will be called Spare — a “loaded” reference to his position as the heir apparent’s younger brother.

Royal author Angela Levin said she thought the palace was “at odds” ahead of the book’s release.

“They have lawyers ready to read it, but they won’t see it until it’s out. If it’s too bland, it’s not worth the millions they’ve already paid him,” she said The sun online.

Details of the bombshell book were revealed and the description from publisher Penguin Random House read: ‘With its raw, unwavering honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.

‘Spare immediately takes the reader back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in grief and horror.

“When Diana, Princess of Wales, was buried, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling — and how their lives would unfold from then on.”

The publishers of the postponed memoir have made it clear that Harry will not shy away from sensitive topics, such as the family's decision to encourage him and his older brother Prince William to walk behind their mother Diana's coffin.

Family members were not notified of the book’s title prior to the announcement yesterday, while the Spanish-language version is even edgier, subtitled En La Sombra, meaning ‘in the shadows’.

He could also reveal which member of the monarchy he believes made a racist comment about his then-unborn son Archie’s possible skin color, or shed light on his strained relationship with his father and hard times with William.

The brothers have had a difficult relationship since Harry moved to the US with his wife Meghan Markle.
