Prince Louis, 5, has ‘no idea he’s a national treasure’ because Kate ‘will have protected him’, claims royal expert

Prince Louis has no idea he is “actually a national treasure” because the Prince and Princess of Wales shield their children from the media, a royal expert said.

The royal, five, has won a legion of fans with his antics, from sticking his tongue out at his mum to dramatically covering his ears on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

He did not disappoint on King’s coronation weekend and was spotted cheering for his grandfather from his carriage, exclaiming ‘Yaaaay Say king. Yeay king,’

He was also seen excitedly pointing to royal fans and whispering to his sister, Princess Charlotte, as they left Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6.

Previously, Prince Louis won fans over at the Trooping the Color celebrations in June last year, where he made a series of hilarious faces – including covering his ears in front of the Queen when the sound of the jet engines roaring became too much.

She said OK! magazine: “They wouldn’t be aware of all the ongoing press coverage about them. I’m sure they are largely shielded from that.

“Louis probably doesn’t know he’s actually a national treasure now!”

Ms Bond went on to say that the royals are likely to ‘jwe have breathed a great sigh of relief now that the coronation is over.”

“It would have been quite easy for the kids who are very resilient to just park that and go back to their routines at school and enjoy playing football, rugby, cricket again with a certain amount of relief that it’s over and they did a very good job.’

Later, Louis put on an animated display on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as The Mall was flooded by tens of thousands of cheering patriots.

The Prince made funny faces during the RAF’s flypast, which had to be reduced to just helicopters and the Red Arrows due to heavy rain in London.

The brazen king stuck out his tongue and looked puzzled as the red arrows flew over the palace seen on the national broadcast.
