- Duke of Sussex will not look further due to ‘sensitive nature of the content’
Prince Harry will not watch his mother’s final moments in the final season of The Crown, reports claimed last night.
A source close to the Duke of Sussex claims he would continue watching the controversial Netflix series after watching previous episodes.
They told a news website that this was due to the ‘sensitive nature’ of the content.
But the source emphasized that Deadline that with Harry and his wife Meghan benefiting from a multi-million dollar production deal with the streaming giant, he has “no ill feelings” toward the makers of The Crown over their decision to cover up Diana’s death.
Buckingham Palace, on the other hand, has refused to comment on the show, which was heavily criticized for its factual inaccuracies.
Harry was not consulted about The Crown nor was he able to preview episodes.

It comes as sources close to Harry and Meghan claimed they had nothing to do with a controversial new royal book written by one of their favorite writers.
They moved today to distance themselves from biographer Omid Scobie’s Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival.
In the book, Mr Scobie claims Harry was deliberately kept ‘in the dark’ about the health of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, in her final days.
The Mail understands that the couple ‘categorically deny any suggestion that they are ‘connected’ to the book.
And they even denied that Mr Scobie, who co-wrote their flattering biography Finding Freedom, is even part of the ‘Sussex camp’.
In 2021, the Duchess of Sussex was forced to apologize to the Supreme Court claiming she ‘failed to cooperate’ with Finding Freedom after a senior former royal aide revealed he had received emails from Meghan offering briefing points to participate in discuss. Mr. Scobie and his co-author, Carolyn Durand.
Some reports today suggested that Buckingham Palace courtiers were ‘furious’ over the new book.
But the Mail understands that these have been met with wry amusement behind the palace walls, with many feeling that the content so far – as reported in People magazine – is ‘exactly what was expected’, describing well-known events with a ‘ decidedly Sussex anomaly’.
