The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were all smiles on their first public outing since their eviction from Frogmore Cottage, it has emerged.
Harry and Meghan were spotted holding hands, smiling and laughing as they exited an office building in Santa Barbara, California, on Friday.
It is not known which business the couple had visited in the complex which houses several businesses including a karate studio, hair salon, pilates studio and the Self Inquiry Life Fellowship which promotes higher yoga and Himalayan meditation.
It is the first time the pair, who were accompanied by an unidentified man believed to be a member of their security detail, have been spotted since the couple officially left the cottage at the request of King Charles III.
The cottage, which was refurbished by the couple and owned by Crown Estate, was their last remaining foothold in the UK.
The King kicked them out of Frogmore, which they gave a £2.4 million makeover but only used for six months, just days after Harry criticized his family in his book Spare.

Buckingham Palace confirmed just a day before the couple’s getaway in Santa Barbara that they had finally left Frogmore.

The Sussexes were asked in January to move all remaining belongings from their Grade II listed five bedroom cottage near Windsor Castle.
The King kicked them out of Frogmore, which they gave a £2.4 million makeover but only used for six months, just days after Harry criticized his family in his book Spare.
The cottage, which was refurbished by the couple and owned by Crown Estate, was their last remaining foothold in the UK and the couple now live in California.
Their departure comes as some of Britain’s top constitutional experts cast doubt on reports that Harry’s expulsion will also confirm his demotion from the position of state adviser.
Anyway, Harry wouldn’t actually fill the role because he no longer takes on public duties as a working member of the royal family.

The eviction also comes because Spotify opted last month not to begin a second series of Meghan’s 13-episode podcast Archetypes, which was number one on the streaming service’s rankings when it debuted.
Spotify and the Sussexes’ audio production company Archewell Audio have released a joint statement saying they have “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we have created together.”
But Bill Simmons, Head of Podcast Innovation and Monetization at Spotify, condemned the pair on an episode of his own podcast, saying, “The f***ing grifters. That’s the podcast we should have launched with them.
“I have to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories.’
Following Spotify’s deprecation of Archetypes and the £18 million partnership with the pair, Netflix has also said it is unlikely to renew its deal with the Sussexes after it expires in 2025.
