Prince Andrew spotted driving near Windsor Castle – one day before release of Netflix film Scoop about the Duke’s car-crash Newsnight interview
Prince Andrew has been pictured driving near Windsor Castle ahead of a Netflix film about his Newsnight car crash, which will be released to millions of people around the world tomorrow.
The Duke of York was spotted behind the wheel of his Range Rover as he braced for the release of ‘Scoop’ – starring Rufus Sewell as Andrew, Gillian Anderson as ex-BBC journalist Emily Maitlis and Billie Piper as producer Sam McAlister.
The drama, which will air around the world on Netflix, will put the 64-year-old’s relationship with pedophile Jeffery Epstein back in the spotlight.
Andrew, dressed in a navy blue sweater, appeared in good spirits as he chatted with another man in the passenger seat ahead of the release of the highly anticipated film about the 2019 interview.
The new Netflix film will be a repeat of what is widely regarded as the most disastrous interview in royal history, in which Maitlis criticized the Duke over the sexual allegations made against him by Virginia Giuffre.

The film is released on Friday and will give King Charles another headache as he continues his battle with cancer.
It will also bring Andrew’s powerful interview, in which he made no apologies for his friendship with Epstein, to a new audience of millions around the world.
Scoop will show the moment at which the Queen’s son naively stated after the interview “that went well, didn’t it?” and how he joked about the meeting with Epstein in New York.
It was said at the time that the King and his son Prince William were instrumental in the Queen’s decision to strip him of all military titles and patronage, but as seen today, the Duke has recently been welcomed back into the royal spotlight.
The extraordinary move came after Andrew settled a sexual assault case brought against him by Virginia Giuffre – a sex slave victim of Andrew’s close friend Epstein.
Royal biographer and investigative journalist Tom Bower believes Scoop should remind the king to stop any attempt by his brother to return to public life.
He said: ‘To spare the Royal Family from further horrific harm, King Charles will finally have to order Prince Andrew to stay out of the public eye permanently. Senior officials must also tell Andrew the truth.

“He is a serious threat and cannot be trusted or saved. Unless King Charles gets a firm grip on this nettle, things can only get worse.”
It comes after the Duke appeared in good spirits on Monday when he was pictured riding around the Windsor estate on horseback.
He was dressed for the excursion in a khaki jacket, a red sweater, black pants and a helmet.

The day before, the prince beamed as he walked up front alongside Princess Anne and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to attend the Easter Sunday service in Windsor.

He put on a brave face at St George’s Chapel last month and shortly after their arrival, King Charles, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, arrived by car with his wife Queen Camilla, marking his most important public appearance since his diagnosis.
The event proved to onlookers that the Duke of York is well and truly back in the royal fold and will no longer shy away from the public spotlight at a time when fewer senior royals are in attendance.
It marks an extraordinary turnaround just two years after his late mother, Queen Elizabeth, banned him from royal duties and stripped him of both his HRH and military titles.
