Prince and Princess of Wales share slick behind-the-scenes clip arriving at the coronation concert

The Prince and Princess of Wales hailed King Charles’ coronation concert at Windsor Palace yesterday as “an evening to remember”.

Last night, the newly crowned king and queen headed out with senior members of the royal family at a star-studded pop concert that featured the likes of Katy Perry, Olly Murs and Take That.

Around 20,000 spectators watched the magnificent show from the royal estate, while millions of people watched the performances on their televisions at home.

Prince William and Kate have now shared behind-the-scenes footage showing them arriving at the concert with their two eldest children, nine-year-old Prince George and eight-year-old Princess Charlotte.

In the video shared on Wales’ official Instagram page, the beaming royal couple beamed as they climbed the stairs to take their seats.

Prince George walked beside his father, the current heir to the throne, while Kate held the hand of her only daughter who was seen giggling.

The montage was filled with clips of people dancing and cheering in large crowds, as well as a sea of ​​Union Jacks waving.

In addition to clips from some of the brilliant performances, it also recalled the emotional moment when Prince William paid a touching tribute to his father, telling him, “Dad, we’re all so proud of you.”

The video showed a somewhat worried William walking down the concert stairs and appearing to check if he had any notes in his side pocket.

It then jumps to the prince offering “a huge thank you to everyone who made it through the concert” before paying tribute to the “king, country and commonwealth.”
