Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield formed a united front at the Pride Of Britain Awards 2022 in London on Monday night as they left the ‘queue’ reaction behind.

The presenters of This Morning appeared in good spirits as they giggled as they posed on the red carpet.

Holly, 41, looked the pinnacle of chic in a floral pink dress with a bow detail on the shoulder designed by Nedret Taciroglu.

Meanwhile, Phil, 60, cut a neat figure in a dark gray blazer, paired with a crisp black shirt, tie and trousers.

It comes after Holly slipped away from the National Television Awards before the ceremony ended on Thursday, forcing Phillip Schofield to face the music when asked awkwardly about their controversy over their “queue.”

The TV presenters were booed at the event when This Morning won the Best Daytime award, following allegations that they skipped the line to see the Queen in state last month.

Holly left just before 10pm, more than half an hour before the ceremony ended, at the awards ceremony – which was held at London’s Ovo Arena Wembley.

While Holly avoided any further embarrassment by leaving the show early, co-host Phillip, 60, was confused when a guest polled him in the queue later – causing him to awkwardly respond with a gushing tribute to his fans.

The annual Pride of Britain Awards return for the 23rd time Monday night at London’s Grosvenor House, with Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo co-hosting the star-studded affair.

Taking place since 1999, the ceremony honors the achievements of truly remarkable people from across the UK and all walks of life – nominated by members of the public.

After a shortlist of thousands of entries has been made, the winners will be chosen by the Pride of Britain jury panel.

Despite taking place on Monday evenings, the ceremony will be broadcast on ITV on Thursday 27 October at 8pm.

What a number: Holly's dress featured a gorgeous mesh tiered skirt, pleated waist and form-fitting bustier, while a strip of fabric came over her left shoulder to form a tie belt, while the other shoulder was left bare

Carol, who has hosted the event for 23 years since 1999, said: ‘We will have 12 incredible winners again this year, but it is difficult for the judges because we have thousands of nominations and anyone on the shortlist could easily win.’

The Pride Of Britain awards will honor winners in eight categories; TSB Community Hero Award, ITV Fundraiser Of The Year, Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser of the Year, This Morning Emergency Services Award, Outstanding Bravery, Child/Teenager of Courage, Lifetime Achievement and Special Recognition.

A whole host of famous faces will attend the bash, including David Beckham, Dame Joan Collins, Sir Mo Farah and many more.
