Preston, Melbourne hot air balloon emergency: Reports person has fallen from a hot air balloon

A person has reportedly fallen from a hot air balloon in Melbourne’s northeast.

The emergency services were called to Albertstraat just after 7.30 am on Monday.

The hot air balloon is believed to have landed nearby.

Participants in another hot air balloon flight that has since landed safely at Fawkner Park told Sunrise they heard a distress call over the radio that someone had fallen from a hot air balloon in Preston.
