Presidential polls 2024 updates: Harris leads Trump by one point while betting odds have the Republican as favorite

When asked about their ballot tomorrow, 48 percent said they would vote for the vice president and 47 percent said they would vote for Trump.

The survey was conducted from October 1 to 10 and included responses from 886 registered voters from across the country.

The gap is closing at a time when other national surveys also show that the gap between the two candidates is narrowing and that Harris’ lead over the former president is almost disappearing.

But the Marquette poll found that despite voters’ preferences, 53 percent think Harris will definitely or probably win and 47 percent say the same about Trump.

There are less than three weeks until Election Day and thousands of Americans have already cast their ballots, either through mail-in voting or early voting in their states.

Both presidential candidates will appear on Fox News on Wednesday.

Donald Trump has recorded a women-focused town hall with Fox host Harris Faulkner in Georgia that will air Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris speaks with Fox host Bret Bair on his program Wednesday evening.

The vice president has been criticized for her media strategy and for refusing several sit-downs – such as at Time Magazine – and instead opting for more non-traditional avenues such as the raunchy, sex-oriented podcast Call Her Daddy.

Trump has spoken to Fox News several times and often goes on the network to appeal to his base and other Republicans.

Michelle Obama will battle Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally exactly one week before Election Day.

The former first lady will lead a rally in Atlanta, Georgia on October 29 with celebrities and civic leaders in an event aimed at engaging minority groups and young and new voters.

The event is organized by the Obama-founded group When We All Vote, which seeks to reach people who are less likely to be involved in politics and US elections.

It’s unclear which celebrities will appear later this month, but the group’s co-chairs include actors Tom Hanks, Kerry Washington and Lin-Manuel Miranda; professional basketball players Stephen Curry and Chris Paul; musical artists Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Becky G, HER and Janelle Monáe; as well as beauty influencer Bretman Rock.

Georgia is one of the most crucial must-win states for a presidential victory in November.

Obama’s rally in the swing state proves how important it is for Harris to win there, as the former first lady is one of the Democrat’s best-known figures.

Former President Barack Obama and his wife both gave speeches in support of Harris at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois in August.

Early voting is already underway in Georgia and the meeting will take place just before early voting ends in the state on November 1.

Elon Musk has become a crucial donor to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign after giving $75 million to his pro-Trump super PAC in the past three months.

The tech billionaire hopes to trigger a “red wave” in crucial swing states, with the expectation that former President Trump can bring the wave back to the White House.

America PAC, founded by Musk to focus on winning voters in closely contested states, spent about $72 million of that money in the July-September period alone — according to disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission.

It comes after Kamala Harris raised $1 billion in just two months and Democrats beat Republicans in fundraising.

Voters in the battleground state of Georgia have cast their ballots in record numbers as early voting begins.

328,000 Georgians cast early ballots in person or by mail, more than double the previous record of 136,000 in 2020, the year Joe Biden came through with fewer than 12,000 votes.

Winning the sixteen electoral college votes would give Trump or Harris a strong chance of winning the general election.

Meanwhile, a judge Tuesday night blocked a rule requiring counties to hand-count ballots on Election Day.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney said this would have caused “administrative chaos” during the election.

Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has declined numerous interviews ahead of Election Day, and now she’s refusing to give one to an outlet owned by a former Democratic presidential candidate.

On Tuesday it was announced that Harris’ campaign rejected Bloomberg News’ offer for an interview alongside CNBC and Time Magazine.

The company was famously founded by former New York mayor and Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg, who ran for office in 2020 before dropping out to support Biden.
