Premier League Darts champion Luke Littler was defeated in an exhibition match by an eight-year-old prodigy.

Northampton’s Noah Kendall was plucked from the crowd and managed to beat Littler 1-0.

Young Kendall scored 90 points on his final throws to win.

The event took place during the Summer Showdown darts exhibition in Cardiff.

He trains 16 hours a week and will soon play for Buckinghamshire County.

Kendall only started playing darts two years ago, but still managed to beat Littler.

Littler, 17, shot to fame after a series of hugely impressive performances, becoming the youngest player to win a match at the WDF World Darts Championship and the PDC World Darts Championship.

As reported by the BBCNoah’s mother Helen said: ‘It’s been a really, really exciting weekend. It’s been amazing, absolutely amazing.

“It’s been a great year, he’s enjoying it to the fullest.”

Kendall was asked if his year could get any better after his win over Littler, to which he replied, “Not really, no.”

Littler gave Kendall a few flights for his darts after the match.
