The Premier League has confirmed that Tottenham’s clash with Nottingham Forest will change dates due to planned tube attacks.
Ange Postecoglou’s side were due to host Forest on Monday, April 8, but the match has now been moved to Sunday, April 7 at 6pm.
In a statement they said: ‘The Premier League apologizes unreservedly to the supporters of both clubs and everyone involved for the inconvenience and disruption caused by this late fixture change.
‘The change has been made due to matters beyond the League’s control, namely the decision to implement rail and metro strikes on Monday 8 April and the subsequent reduction in available travel.
“This has led to the municipality’s Safety Advisory Group determining that it is not possible to organize the match with the required level of safety for the fans present.”
