Arsenal vs West Ham will take the primetime slot on Boxing Day with Chelsea and Manchester United in action 24 hours later when the Premier League’s Christmas and New Years schedule was finally announced.
Manchester City’s trip to Leeds is on December 28, and Liverpool will follow up their Boxing Day trip to Aston Villa with a home game against Leicester on December 30.
There will be six top games on New Year’s Eve, including a teatime match between Brighton and Arsenal, with 2023 kicking off with Tottenham vs Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea.

Another full round of matches will be split over four days between January 2 and 5, with the trip from Liverpool to Brentford now having a tea time start on Monday January 2.
The clash between Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge is on Thursday, January 5 at 8 p.m.
The seven Boxing Day matches are the first to be played in the Premier League after the World Cup in Qatar, which concludes on December 18.
However, the fourth round of the Carabao Cup will be played just before Christmas on December 20-21.
All matches between December 26 and 28 will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video, with Sky Sports and BT Sport broadcasting some of the New Year’s promotion.

Some supporters will understandably be unhappy with the changes to the game schedule over the festive period, where transport services are not as reliable. For example, there are no trains on Boxing Day.
The traditional Boxing Day football celebration will see Premier League action return after the World Cup break with Tottenham’s trip to Brentford at 12.30pm.
There are four games at 3pm before Liverpool’s visit to Aston Villa and Arsenal vs West Ham concludes a solid 10 hours of live football.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth at 5:30pm and Man United vs Forest at 8pm are also on Amazon Prime on December 27, with Leeds vs Man City on Elland Road the match at 8pm on December 28.

A new round of matches will then begin on Friday 30 December with West Ham vs Brentford and Liverpool vs Leicester, the latter chosen for coverage by Sky Sports.
New Year’s Eve falls on a Saturday with Man United’s visit to Wolves, the lunchtime match on BT Sport.
Man City vs Everton is one of four kicks off at 3pm with Brighton vs Arsenal, the last Premier League football of 2022.
On New Year’s Day, Sky will see a ‘Super Sunday’ double header as Spurs hosts Aston Villa and Forest then face Chelsea.
Monday is a public holiday and Brentford vs Liverpool is the match at 5:30pm on Sky.

That’s the start of another midweek round of matches that came in the first week of January.
A quartet of matches on Tuesday January 3 are Arsenal vs Newcastle and Man United vs Bournemouth.
There are four games left on Wednesday night before Chelsea vs Man City is on Thursday, January 5.
The Premier League said: “Special arrangements have been made to allow more time between matches played in the three festive rounds.
“This will give players more time to recover, with the rest period being extended between match weeks 18-19 to ensure no club plays within 48 hours of another match.”
