Pregnant Stassi Schroeder begins repairing damaged nursery caused by Hurricane Hilary that left star in TEARS… weeks before welcoming second child

Stassi Schroeder has begun repairs to the nursery damaged by heavy rains from Hurricane Hilary and notified fans on her Instagram stories on Monday.

The 35-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum, who was left in tears earlier Sunday when water leaked through the light fixtures, uploaded an image that was also shared by her husband, Beau Clark.

Blue tape could be seen scattered across the white walls and ceiling as a worker assessed some of the damage.

The TV personality, who is just weeks away from welcoming her second child, added three finger-crossed emojis to stay positive.

The blonde beauty also shared a message with fans asking for advice due to the possibility that she will lose access to the nursery by the time her son is born.

‘Since it looks like the baby won’t be in the nursery for a while, dear cribs? Preferably one with a canopy to block the light. Hartford was in her nursery from day one so this is all new to me,” she wrote to her followers.

The reality star shares her two-year-old daughter Hartford with Beau, with whom she tied the knot in 2020. Next month in September, the couple will celebrate their third wedding anniversary.

But just weeks before they welcomed their second child together, Stassi revealed on social media on Sunday that their baby boy’s nursery was damaged by Hurricane Hilary that hit Southern California.

The star was in tears as she watched the rain pour through the nursery light fixtures in her $1.7 million Hollywood Hills home. A walk-in closet in the house was in the middle of a transformation into a spacious children’s room.

“And I was scared to get the blinds and curtains done in time,” wrote the mom-to-be—who spent months converting her walk-in closet into a nursery. ‘I’m really sobbing right now because of my hormones. Our nursery (cry emoji).’

Stassi’s husband Beau showed more footage of the damage to their unborn son’s room and reached out to his 678,000 Instagram followers for contractor recommendations.

New baby room. What are the chances we can fix this before the baby arrives (angry emoji swearing)?” asked the 43-year-old commercial casting director via Instagram stories.

“I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who was enthusiastic about their contractor. But if anyone has any recommendations DM me their info so I can check them out on Google.”

Stassi – who is 36 weeks on the road – recently revealed her hospital plans and expectations about giving birth during last Thursday’s episode of her Patreon podcast called The good, the bad, the baby.

In the end, I chose my margarita slippers. That’s in (the suitcase). I have two pairs of cozy socks.’ And then I thought, “What do I feel like wearing after birth while I’m in bed?” she asked.

Schroeder later explained, “Like I’m supposed to still feel like myself and that’s one of the things I did wrong last time.” I was literally like, “What necklaces do I want to wear when I’m in the hospital?” You want to feel good about yourself…”

“If they make me wear a necklace during labor, I’ll wear this little diamond tennis necklace and the H&M necklace you bought me. And (the baby) can do skin-to-skin with those delicate necklaces. They won’t get in the way.’

The author of Off with My Head hosted a “baby shower” on Aug. 8 that consisted of a “fancy dinner” at the Olivetta restaurant in West Hollywood with nine girlfriends, including former castmates Lala Kent and Katie Maloney.

Stassi announced in March earlier this year that she was expecting baby number two by showing off her growing baby bump while on a coach with Hartford.

The TV personality wrote in the caption, “Secrets stress me out. Baby #2, I love you so much already.”

At the time, social media users jumped to the comment section to express their excitement and congratulations, such as Khloe Kardashian, who added a slew of red heart emojis.

Last July, Stassi appeared on the cover of Mini magazine and her daughter also entered, making it her first magazine cover.
