Pregnant Sophie Cachia hits out at fans for asking her about her sperm donor and gives a rare insight into co-parenting with her AFL star ex Jaryd

Sophie Cachia has hit out at her fans for constantly bombarding her with questions about her sperm donor.

The former WAG, 33, is currently pregnant with her third child after undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI) as a single mother earlier this year.

She underwent fertility treatment with a sperm donor and previously said she will not reveal any “personal” details about who they are.

And on Monday, Sophie answered questions about her pregnancy during an Instagram Q&A, but was left furious by some fans’ questions.

The mummy blogger spoke briefly about the donor’s height after a fan asked her if she expected her unborn daughter to be a “big baby.”

She made it clear that she only answered the question because it related to her baby’s size, while sharing that her donor is actually shorter than her.

In a caption, Sophie then asked her followers to stop asking “personal” questions about the donor’s identity, but she still received a flood of questions.

In a follow-up video, a furious Sophie lashed out at the ‘idiots’ who had messaged her with questions, despite making it clear she wouldn’t answer them.

“This is what I hate about people and what I hate about the ugly internet,” she fumed.

‘I’m having a great old time, I’m resting, I’ve been to my midwife, my mum is cooking me a nice steak for dinner and I’m answering questions and talking to many of you in my DMs.

“And that one story where I put a little thing on the bottom and just said, ‘Hey, don’t ask me personal questions about the donor, I’m not answering them,’ every question since has been about the donor.

‘Like you guys are just idiots! I’m not going to give you an answer, you’re doing it to provoke a reaction from me and you have one, but what’s wrong with you?

“You’re all adults and you did that purely because I asked you not to.”

During the Q&A, Sophie also gave a rare insight into her co-parenting relationship with her ex Jaryd Cachia, with whom she shares her two older children Bobby, 10, and Florence, 7.

She hinted that they still have a very good relationship after their divorce in 2019, while giving advice to other divorced couples on how to co-parent successfully.

Speaking words of wisdom, she said: ‘Don’t be so ad**khead and remember that every decision you make should be made to make the children’s lives easier.’

“I have friends who deal with absolutely selfish assholes where it becomes a ‘game’ for them, not the best for the kids. F**kwits,” she added.

Sophie was married to 33-year-old Jaryd for four years after they tied the knot in October 2015, but they went their separate ways in September 2019.

Since becoming pregnant with her third child, Sophie has started dating AFLW player Madison Prespakis, 24, with the couple making their romance public last month.

And during the Q&A, Sophie also talked about what it was like starting a new relationship during her pregnancy.

One of her fans asked if she had been ‘concerned’ about involving Maddy in her pregnancy and whether that had ‘hindered the honeymoon phase of their relationship’.

In response, Sophie admitted she was worried and said she had no plans to date while pregnant, but gushed over Maddy for accepting her children.

‘I wasn’t going to answer this, but I actually think it’s a very fair question. I’m sure a lot of people ask that question, so I’ll answer it. I think it’s a very reasonable question,” Sophie said.

‘The answer is absolutely: yes, and in both directions. It was never my intention, I talked about this in the only podcast I did.

‘I never intended my life to turn out this way, but it has. But when you say, ‘involve your partner as much as you can,’ the level of involvement isn’t really shared, so maybe there’s an assumption there.”

Sophie said they have ‘fast-tracked’ a lot of things and are experiencing many ‘firsts’ as a couple, as she gave a rare insight into their relationship.

‘We are riding the wave as a couple, with of course MANY firsts together. Nothing changes, I’m a mother,” Sophie explained.

“She is my wonderful, supportive partner who is committed to loving all my children and me completely.

‘A level of involvement with my children that I have not experienced before, so it is all very new for me to let down all the walls.’

‘I’m experiencing things I haven’t experienced before, she’s experiencing a lot of things she hasn’t experienced before, as a couple we’re confronted with things much sooner than many people would experience in the first twelve, 24 months. as long as you’re still dating,” she continued.

“We accelerated a lot of things, but that’s a choice she made to stay with me and hold my hand, and for me it took a while for me to open up and drop those walls and let her in.” to be part of this journey.”

Sophie acknowledged the challenges they have faced and praised Maddy for accepting her pregnancy and her two older children Bobby and Florence.

‘She’s an incredible person. I’ve said before that it takes a very special person to not only find themselves in a situation where there are already children, but also to have a baby that they didn’t sign up for,” Sophie said.

“I just think – without going into too much detail – that this is a sign of character, a sign of commitment, of a great family, a great foundation and an incredible human being.

‘[It’s] a relationship built first and foremost on a great friendship and, most importantly, on trust and loyalty, and on a love that I know I deserve and that I have earned for a long time, and that in return I can love with all my heart.’

Since her 2019 split from Jaryd, Sophie has had several back-to-back romances with high-profile sportswomen before finding love with Maddy.

She first dated Matildas footballer Alanna Kennedy before briefly becoming engaged to WNBL star Maddie Garrick.

She then had a year-long romance with Sophie Van De Heuvel, who is friends with her current girlfriend Maddy because they both play for Essendon football club.

Maddy has not appeared in one-on-one posts in Van De Heuvel’s feed since December last year, before her relationship with Sophie ended.

Then in July, Sophie confirmed she would be expanding her family when she revealed she was pregnant with her third child and would be a single mother.

She underwent intrauterine insemination (IUI) – a fertility treatment in which sperm is introduced into the uterus around ovulation.

Sophie has since revealed she is expecting a girl and went Instagram official with her new girlfriend Maddy in recent weeks.
