A pregnant woman begs her husband to spend time with her instead of her mother, who puts a piece of chocolate in her son-in-law's mouth on TLC's new series Smothered.

DeLeesa is left alone while her other half Trevor, 37, heads out to play bingo with her mother India, 59, 'for hours' – and when she calls him to come home, India hangs up the phone on her daughter.

While DeLeesa has already called her mother's close relationship with her husband “weird,” India has lashed out at her daughter, accusing her of being “jealous” of the bond she shares with her son-in-law.

In a clip shared exclusively with DailyMail.com, India hands Trevor a piece of chocolate with her bare hands as DeLeesa watches in horror on FaceTime as she begs him to come home.

While he is on the phone with his wife DeLeesa, her mother India hands him chocolate

“I feel like you should come home,” DeLeesa protests as Trevor and India play bingo.

Hearing her pleas, her mother blows raspberries at her daughter, prompting her to respond, “Are you serious?”

The tense situation causes DeLeesa and Trevor to clash, with the devastated woman asking, “Who plays bingo for seven hours?”

“It hasn't even been seven hours, you're being dramatic,” Trevor replies. “We've literally been here for an hour.”

As he tries to tell his wife that he will be gone for another hour, India starts waving a bar of chocolate in his face, which he then eats, before taking Trevor's phone and hanging up.

Trevor says in a confessional with mother-in-law India by his side, “At this point in my relationship with DeLeesa, she feels threatened.”

India interrupts her son-in-law and interjects, “No, I don't think so.

'I think it's just jealousy, because everything always has to be her. If it's not her, then so be it.'

Trevor and India's unusual relationship is causing friction in DeLeesa's marriage, with the mother-of-three previously calling their bond 'weird'.

“My husband and my mother are best friends and have the strangest, disgusting relationship I have ever seen,” she said.

'I can't stand it, especially because my mother and I don't get along. It should be me and him, not my mother and him.”

The mother and son-in-law wear matching outfits, eat from each other's mouths and clean each other's ears.

And if that's not enough, India even plans to have dentures made from a mold of Trevor's mouth so they have the same smile.

“Their intimacy is especially disturbing for Trevor's wife and India's daughter, DeLeesa,” an official TLC teaser reads.

Now that DeLeesa is pregnant and needs her husband's support more than ever, she gives Trevor an ultimatum.

“Trevor finally realizes the seriousness of the situation when DeLeesa ends up in the hospital due to health problems.”
