Pregnant Sienna Miller, 41, reveals her daughter Marlowe, 11, thinks her father Tom Sturridge’s girlfriend Alexa Chung is more fashionable than her

Sienna Miller has opened up about her 11-year-old daughter Marlowe's relationship with her father Tom Sturridge's girlfriend Alexa Chung.

The actress, 41, and her ex-boyfriend, 38, dated between 2011 and 2015 but have remained close friends and co-parent their daughter.

As Sienna prepares to welcome a second daughter with her current boyfriend Oli Green, 27, she explains how Marlowe deals with her dad's model girlfriend.

Sienna admitted that Marlow thinks supermodel Alexa, 40, is 'much more fashionable' than her, despite both being iconic British style inspirations.

In a new interview with Vogue, Sienna was asked if her daughter realizes that between her mother and Alexa, she has access to two of the largest wardrobes.

Laughing, Sienna replied, “We tell her she is never gonna give that to me. I I think she's starting to get it and I have an aesthetic and maybe it was appreciated, but she's still like no.”

Tom and Alexa went public with their romance at the 2022 Wimbledon tennis championships, as they sat steps away from Sienna and her new boyfriend Oli and took selfies together.

Speaking specifically about Marlowe's relationship with Alexa, she continued, “To Alexa, she is much more generous because she is beautifully dressed and not her real mother.”

Referring to their setup, the star gushed about their close family dynamic.

She said: 'It's really loving, cozy and wonderful. It's ideal. It's unbelievable. We're very lucky.'

Also Sienna during the interview described the difference in her mindset surrounding her birth plans between her first and second babies – as she is now 31 weeks along.

At this stage she revealed that she 'feels pregnant' in her 'head and face' and has noticed that she is moving in a 'slight wobble' – and that she has to urinate around 18 times a night.

She admitted that she had her heart set on a “natural” birth with Marlowe, with her sister Savannah, 44, (who had had multiple home births) as her doula.

But instead she was induced at the hospital and endured 27 hours of grueling labor.

She added: 'It was like a terrible trick of the universe. I thought: this can't be what my sister felt like at home in her birthing pool.'

Sienna had an emergency C-section, which she called a destabilizing experience. She said: 'It was so essential in my mind that I got it 'right'. And so emblematic of the kind of mother I would be, that I wasn't.

“But in retrospect, I know these were just the demons of new motherhood. This time she says, “I don't think I'm going to put that pressure on myself.”

Talking about her pregnancy this time, she said, “I think I'm a lot more aware now than I was then.”

“It's been so much easier, I've gotten through this pregnancy. I felt great until about six days ago.”

She added that Marlowe is now excited to have a sister, despite initial reservations.

“She's excited now. She loves this. Why did we change this, we were the Gilmore Girls and what if the baby is cuter and the normal feelings she's very honest about?”
