Pregnant Shaughna Phillips will have understated wedding and believes she is expecting a boy

Shaughna Phillips has revealed that she is convinced her baby is a boy and plans to have a “small” wedding.

The 28-year-old former Love Island star is currently expecting her first child with her partner Billy and while they’re not engaged yet, the couple have had talks about their wedding.

speaking to OKAY! magazineShaughna said that when the big day comes, it will be a low-key affair since buying a house and preparing for a baby recently have taught her the value of money.

She said: ‘Getting a house gives a different sense of value for money. Hats off to people who spend thousands of pounds on a wedding.

‘Even if I have a wedding, it will be small, it will be in the council!’

Shaughna and her partner, who don’t want to be in the public eye, are currently staying at her mother’s house and hope to move into her house next year.

Meanwhile, in a column for the publication, Shaughna said she has a feeling her baby will be a boy.

She wrote: ‘I feel like he’s a boy now. I’m not entirely sure why. At the beginning of my pregnancy journey, I really wanted a girl, but I’m okay with having a baby.”

Shaughna added that she plans to have more children and that there will be “room for two” in her new house once the renovations are complete.

Coming after Shaughna opened up about her pregnancy journey thus far, admitting that while she’s “feeling a little thick,” the illness and first trimester symptoms haven’t been too bad.

Sharing that she already has a name for the baby in mind, with some sweet reasoning behind it, she admitted that she’s naming the baby after her boyfriend and his father.

Shaughna said she’s been experiencing mild illness and even “carries a sick bag” just in case, but otherwise hasn’t been overly exhausted with pregnancy symptoms.

And revealing that she already has baby names in mind, Shaughna plans to pay sweet tribute to her late father Eddie, who passed away from cancer in 2016.

She told OK Magazine: ‘I have two names. If it’s a boy, I’ll name it after his father. I’m also going to give him my dad’s middle name, which is Edward, but people called him Eddie.

‘And I have my name for a girl, I keep it a secret because I don’t want anyone to steal it!’ he continued, after admitting that he is expecting a girl.

Talking about the changes in her body since she got pregnant, she explained, “I feel a little fat.” But other than that, I’m fine. I have found pregnancy quite easy so far. I have not had so much disease.
