Sam Frost is expecting her second child with partner and Australian Survivor star Jordie Hansen.
The former Bachelor has revealed she has found ‘peace’ in motherhood after leaving the Home and Away actress and stepping out of the spotlight and having her son Ted.
‘I feel very peaceful and satisfied. I love being a mother. “I am a family person and introvert, so home is my safe place,” says the 35-year-old Stellar magazine.
Sam said she spends time with her sister and nieces, who live down the road, and enjoys ‘quality time’ with family and that this has helped her mental health.
“I used to tell myself that I was a very anxious person and I always felt quite anxious, but I haven’t felt anxious in a long time,” she said.
“Living this kind of lifestyle where I’m with my family and having a safe place and traveling around places where you don’t have phone reception, so you’re not on social media, has completely changed my life,” she continued.

The former actress also said that she has largely quit social media.
‘I have a different relationship with Instagram now. I use it as a business tool to promote what I do or show little bites from my life, but I don’t scroll on it. It is not worth disrupting my peace, my sanity and my joy,” she said.
Sam posted to Instagram last month to share the exciting news of her impending arrival with a photo of the family dressed all in green and her growing baby bump.
“Our family is growing from three to four,” she began.
‘It’s been a wild ride, but we are extremely grateful that our little one is healthy and doing well there. We are all very excited to meet you, especially your big brother!’
The actress continued to thank family and friends for the “love and support over the past few months.”
The soon-to-be mother of two hasn’t revealed how far along she is in her pregnancy, but if her caption is to be believed, she’s already a few months pregnant.
‘A huge thank you to our family and friends for all their love and support over the past few months. We love you xxxx,” she captioned the post.

It wasn’t long before Sam was inundated with well wishes from her famous friends.
‘What wonderful news Sam, and so happy for you. Many congratulations,” wrote Lisa Wilkinson.
‘Woohoo great news!!’ added Brittany Hockley.
‘Congratulations!!!’ wrote The Bachelor Anna Heinrich.
Channel Seven star Abbey Gelmi also shared a sweet message, writing: ‘Congratulations darling!!’
“Oh girlllll! This is wonderful news. So happy for all of you. Ted is going to be the best big brother ever,” Angie Kent added.
The couple welcomed their first child, son Ted, on March 7, 2023.
In August, the actress revealed that the pregnancy was not easy for her.
“To be honest, I actually surprised myself,” she told Confidential on Nova Radio, discussing what parenthood has been like for her since the baby arrived.
‘I found the pregnancy very difficult and I thought that might be a reflection of what’s going to happen, but to be honest I’m actually a bit more relaxed than I thought.’
She added that her newborn was “really fantastic” and that she was enjoying new motherhood.
“He really is a dream baby, he’s so happy, he’s so relaxed, he laughs all the time and thinks I’m the best person in life,” she said.
“He loves my performances, I perform for him all the time and he loves it.”
Sam and Jordie announced their engagement on July 7, 2022.
