Pregnant Rose Leslie looks stylish in a beige suede jacket while out with husband Kit Harington

Pregnant Rose Leslie cut a graceful figure as she stepped out with husband Kit Harington and their son for a daytime stroll in north London on Wednesday.

Her husband Kit, 36, announced they are expecting their second child together during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Saturday.

The 36-year-old Game Of Thrones actress bundled up in freezing temperatures during her family outing, which comes just days after the news of her pregnancy broke.

Stepping out after the news broke, Rose looked effortlessly chic in blue jeans and a black T-shirt, which she paired with chunky black boots.

She hid her burgeoning paunch under a beige, fluff-lined suede jacket and shielded her eyes with a pair of round sunglasses.

Rose, who played Ygritte in the HBO fantasy series, tucked her red hair under a purple beanie and was seen walking her pet.

She was joined by her husband and former co-star Kit, who kept it casual in distressed jeans and a black turtleneck sweater.

The actor, who played Jon Snow on Game Of Thrones, completed his look with a blue jacket, brown boots and a black bandana.

He styled his dark locks in a tousled natural style and sported a well-groomed beard as he carried his son, whose name has not been released, on his shoulders.

Their outing comes just days after Kit revealed that they are expecting their second child together.

Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kit admitted he was “terrified” when he confirmed his baby news.

Speaking about her young son, she said: “He’s about to get the surprise of his life, which is that he’s about to have a brother or a sister.”

She then confirmed that Rose is currently pregnant with her second child and admitted that she is scared to welcome another baby into the family.

He continued: ‘Do you know that with the first baby, you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields and daisies for nine months? Well, man it is anyway.

“This time, the reality check is much shorter, and you get hands-on, very quickly.”

Kit then said that he and Rose have been trying to explain to their toddler that he’s having a sibling, but he “doesn’t quite get it conceptually yet.”

He said: “We’re trying to prepare him for that and we point to Rose’s belly and say, ‘Mommy’s baby, mummy’s baby,’ and he points to her tummy and says, ‘My baby, my baby.'”

Kit and Rose met while filming their hit HBO show Game of Thrones and began dating in 2011.

They announced their engagement in The Times newspaper in September 2017 and married the following June in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Rose was seen visibly pregnant in September 2020 and their son was first seen in February 2021, although the couple have never confirmed when he was born.

She admitted that she found it ‘brutal’ to have it removed when she was filming Game Of Thrones at the time.

‘There were parts of me that doubted if I would be able to pull it off for six months. It was very hard,” she said of the engagement.

Kit has previously said that being a parent is “the most physically taxing thing” he’s ever done.

Speaking to The Weekend Australian, he said: ‘Like, honestly, my back is a wreck. I go to the gym quite a bit, but there is something about having a child that is the most physically exhausting,” she said.

The actor praised single parents saying, ‘I don’t know how you do it. Because it’s more exhausting than anything I did on Thrones.’

On the other hand, the actor is “happy” and “content” with his life since he became a father.

“I have a son and my relationship is brilliant… I am a very, very happy, content and sober man,” he said, referring to his past battle with alcohol addiction.
