The exciting news comes after the couple spoke about their plans to have a family in April.

They admitted that they are now thinking about the next stage of their marriage, after celebrating the 10th anniversary of their relationship last March.

Speaking to French magazine Point de Vue, the couple admitted they both wanted a child, but while Louis wanted to dive right in, event executive Marie wanted to wait to focus on her career.

Marie said she would like to stop having two children, while Louis, who works as an international projects adviser at Nottingham Forest football club, would like to have four.

The couple admitted the women into their respective families, including their mother, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, and their sisters, Pauline Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb, often asking them when they will have a baby.

Marie said she would like to stop having two children, while Louis, who works as an international projects adviser at Nottingham Forest football club, would like to have four.

“It’s true that Louis has been telling me about his desire to be a father for several years,” Marie said.

‘I’m not quite ready yet. I’d like to wait a bit longer, but maybe next year?’ she said.

“Thirty would be a beautiful age to make this project a reality,” added her husband.

And the couple admitted that they also have differing views when it comes to the number of children they’d like to have.

‘Ideally, I would like to have three or four children. I have a brother and three sisters,’ Louis said. ‘Having a big family like mine would be a true happiness.’

However, his wife said that she would prefer to stop at two children.

The couple began dating while they were students when they were both attending Skema Business School in Sophia Antipolis, France in 2011.

A lovesick Louis popped the question to Marie in 2018, during a romantic proposal on the beach.

Louis, who is the grandson of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly shared their engagement on Instagram, with a photo of the happy couple on a beach, with him on one knee, saying: ‘Let me introduce you to the future. Mrs. Ducruet. She said yes and now we’re engaged.

The couple married during a civil ceremony at Monaco’s town hall, attended by Pancake in a dog-xedo, before a religious ceremony the next day.

The couple included their beloved dog Pancake, pictured, whom they have shared for years, in their anniversary messages.

They were married in a civil ceremony at the Monaco town hall, with the bride in a simple ivory jumpsuit and her hair pulled back into a pretty clip.

The couple married the Mayor of Monaco, George Marsan, and then had an informal reception in the garden of the Prince’s Palace.

The couple had a more lavish affair later: they tied the knot in Monaco Cathedral with an emotional religious ceremony at the Monaco cathedral, where Marie was seen wiping her eyes, overwhelmed with happiness as she pulled up in a white Rolls Royce.

The wedding dress for the religious ceremony was created by Atelier Boisanger.

The dress was made in Zagar and Chantilly Lace, while according to its designers the dress also took 300 hours of delicate embroidery.
