Pregnant Margot Robbie previously admitted that she wouldn’t have a baby until she was ready because she was tired of people asking.
It has been confirmed that the Australian actress, 34, is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerleyalso 34, after MailOnline obtained photos of the star proudly showing off her small but visible baby bump.
While promoting her film Mary Queen of Scots in 2019, she told The times: ‘I’m married and the first question in almost every interview is, “Babies? When are you having one?” I’m so angry that there’s this social contract,’
“You’re married, now you have a baby. Don’t take too much for granted. I’ll do what I’m going to do.”
The couple met in 2013 while working together on Suite Française, where he was an assistant director and she was in front of the camera. They married in 2016 in her native Australia.

Together, Margot and Tom have produced films including the Academy Award-winning I, Tonya and Promising Young Woman, as well as the 2023 blockbusters Saltburn and Barbie, all under the LuckyChap Entertainment banner.
Last year, the actress admitted she was as stunned as everyone else when Barbie became a global box office hit.
Greta Gerwig’s 1959 comedy about the Mattel Barbie doll grossed a whopping $1.4 billion, rivaling Christopher Nolan’s biopic Oppenheimer.
Margot told Variety She was shocked by the online cultural impact the films had during their opening weekend.
“The fact that people would go and say, ‘Oh, look at Oppenheimer and then look at Barbie.’ I thought, ‘See? People like everything.’ People are weird,” she said.
It turns out that the hilarious memes about Barbie fighting the “father of the atomic bomb” J. Robert Oppenheimer are all thanks to Margot.
In an interview for Variety’s Actors on Actors with Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy, Margot revealed that she was the mastermind behind the double act known as Barbenheimer.
The Australian actor still remembers the moment Oppenheimer producer Chuck Rove called her and said, “I think you guys should move your date,” after the two films were set for release on July 21.

And that’s not even mentioning Barbie, starring Margot, which grossed an incredible $1.4 billion at the box office.

“And I said something like, ‘We’re not moving our date. If you’re afraid to take us on, move your date,’” Margot explained.
“And he said, ‘We’re not moving our date. I just think it would be better for you to move.’ And I said, ‘We’re not moving!’ I think that’s a really good combination, actually. It’s a perfect double bill, Oppenheimer and Barbie.”
Irish actor Cillian, 47, told Robbie: “That was a good idea.”
Clearly this odd combination worked, given the amount of hilarious memes that went viral in the lead-up to the two films’ release.
People are so smart. People kept asking me, “Does every marketing department talk to each other?” And I said, “No, this is the world doing this! This is not part of the marketing campaign,”‘ Margot said.
Cillian replied: ‘And I think it happened because both films were good. There was a huge diversity of things in cinema that summer, and I think it just connected in a way that you or I or the studios or anyone else could never have predicted.’

LuckyChap will produce the live-action film together with Monopoly sponsor Hasbro Entertainment, according to Variety.
Speaking at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chairman Adam Fogelson said LuckyChap has “a clear position” on the Monopoly film, which features characters like Rich Uncle Pennybags.
Fogelson said: ‘I couldn’t have imagined a better production team for this beloved and iconic brand than LuckyChap. They are exceptional producers who choose their projects with great care and attention and join Monopoly with a clear point of view.
“We are incredibly excited to be working with the entire LuckyChap team on what we believe can be their next blockbuster.
LuckyChap said in a statement: “Monopoly is a top property — pun fully intended. Like all the best IP, this game has resonated globally for generations, and we are so excited to bring it to life with the incredible teams involved at Lionsgate and Hasbro.’
Hasbro Entertainment’s Head of Film Zev Foreman said: “As one of the most iconic games in the world, Monopoly offers an incredible platform for storytelling opportunities. We are thrilled to have the unique vision of LuckyChap and Lionsgate alongside us to bring this historic piece of popular culture to the big screen.”
James Myers will oversee Monopoly on behalf of the studio.
LuckyChap hopes to match the monster success of Barbie, which became the highest-grossing film of 2023 a month after its theatrical release.
