Pregnant Lala Kent celebrates her daughter Ocean’s third birthday in LA alongside Vanderpump Rules costars Scheana Shay and Katie Maloney
Pregnant Lala Kent beamed with baby joy as she welcomed a parade of her friends to her daughter Ocean’s third birthday party in Los Angeles.
Last week she announced her latest pregnancy, with a heartbreaking photo of two-year-old Ocean beaming at Lala’s blossoming baby bump.
Lala is still embroiled in a rancorous custody battle with Ocean’s father, film producer Randall Emmett, more than two years after their divorce.
Bruised by her experiences and determined not to “share my child again,” Lala opted for artificial insemination with a sperm donor.
As she prepares to welcome her next baby on her own, Lala is celebrating Ocean’s big day with some of the friends she shot to fame with on Vanderpump Rules.

Little Ocean, who turns three next week, was of course also present for the festivities – and Lala made sure she had a good time in the company of adults too.

Scheana Shay was spotted arriving with her handsome husband Brock Davies and their three-year-old daughter Hartford.
Brock strolled ahead, wearing a chic 80s shirt with a number of buttons left tantalizingly open on his chest, revealing a retro necklace underneath.
Meanwhile, Scheana, who braved the lingering March chill in a summery pink tank top and acid wash jeans, walked behind him with their child in hand.
Katie Maloney, whose cheerful antics on Vanderpump Rules earned her the nickname Tequila Katie, was the picture of cheer when she arrived at the party.
She wrapped a long dark coat over an olive green cardigan, donned dark cut-off trousers and completed the look with matching leather penny loafers.
She passed by the party carrying a potted plant and an overflowing bag, which may have contained gifts for the growing family she was visiting.
Stassi Schroeder was seen at Lala’s house with her boyfriend Beau Clark and their three-year-old daughter Hartford.
The blonde bombshell pulled off a casual look, bundled up in a cozy-looking sweater that contrasted with her Daisy Dukes.

The mother-to-be, meanwhile, looked radiant in a sleek and chic maternity dress with a thigh slit that allowed her to show off her shapely legs.
Her knitted gray number was sleeveless, but she was prepared for a drop in temperatures with a matching jacket.
She let her luscious caramel locks flow freely in waves over her shoulders and accentuated her pin-up features with naturalistic makeup.
Lala added a pop of color to her look with a pair of blue plaid stiletto boots, giving the outfit an extra touch of flair.

In a recent Amazon Live appearance, Lala shed some light on why she became pregnant via artificial insemination instead of doing it naturally.

“The best thing about my baby daddy is that he doesn’t exist. “I’ve been pretty open about the fact that I really wanted to have complete control over—I think not my child, but I wanted them around me all the time,” she explained.
“I’ve had a really hard time with my past and just with Ocean,” she noted, without mentioning Randall’s name. ‘For me, my child will never be up for grabs again.’
Lala and Randall split in 2021 amid a swirl of allegations that he cheated on her, and the resulting custody battle continues to rage.
By 2022, she was so disillusioned with the idea of co-parenting that she declared that she would have her next child only with a sperm donor.
“I’m not even going to try to do it any other way. I don’t want anyone else involved,” she said on Scheana’s podcast Scheananigans.
While there was always the chance that a friend would “come into my life,” she “wasn’t taking any chances” of raising another child with someone else.
‘There is such a good chance that it won’t work, especially where we live. Like, I’m so scarred by all this shit that’s happened in my life.”
