Pregnant Katherine Ryan joins her family at Skate at Somerset House’s launch party

Katherine Ryan was the radiant mother-to-be in every inch on Tuesday as she joined her family at the Skate at Somerset House launch party in London.

The pregnant star, 39, covered up her blossoming baby bump in a black velvet midi dress with silver bows down the front as she posed for snaps with her adorable family.

Katherine paired her smart dress with a pair of shimmering black ankle boots and wore her blonde locks neatly parted in the middle.

The star was joined by civil partner Bobby Koostra, their son Fred, 13 months, and her daughter Violet, 13, from a previous relationship.

Her young family dressed up in cozy looks for the evening, while the comedian’s kids donned Scandinavian-style sweaters.

While Bobby kept it casual in a black baseball cap, long black coat and white sneakers.

Her appearance at the skate event with Moët & Chandon comes after she revealed in July that she was pregnant with her third child.

The TV personality admitted that she found out she was pregnant after trying for the first time while still breastfeeding her son Fred, whom she welcomed 13 months ago.

It is her second child with her registered partner of three years Bobby.

Katherine shared her pregnancy news on her podcast, but kept tight-lipped about how far along she was.

She said, ‘I’m pregnant, I’ve been pregnant for a while and that’s how I did it. I got pregnant while breastfeeding the first time I tried and to be honest I don’t think it’s going to work because I’m 39 – I would have been 38 when I got pregnant.

“And I thought, ‘We’ve got to get the kids out of the way.’ You never know how long you’re going to have and I love my kids. I just thought, ‘Let’s go for it.'”

On her show, she said, “You should never tell people your due date. If you never tell them, they can never bother you around that time.”

Katherine said she “forgot to try” while touring after two pregnancy losses, but began to suffer from a “sharp pain” that lasted for two to three minutes, which she had when she was pregnant with her son Fred.

She continued, “I thought I might get my period. And I didn’t expect to get my period this month because these things should level themselves out after your first period if you’re breastfeeding.

“Shortly after, days later, I had a positive pregnancy test.”

She had a civil partnership with childhood sweetheart Bobby in December 2019, in a low-key ceremony in Denmark after the pair rekindled their romance.
