Pregnant Jessie J breaks down in tears and vomits in candid footage from her first trimester

Pregnant Jessie J broke down in tears in a heartfelt video montage shared to Instagram on Sunday, documenting her first trimester.

The singer, 34, shocked fans on Friday by revealing that she was expecting a child, 13 months after suffering a devastating miscarriage.

Croaking, ‘I can’t explain how sick I feel!’ in one of the clips, the makeup-free star vomited into a sick bag and burst into tears as she lay in bed.

Layered against Coi Leray’s Players, she hunched over as she leaned against the kitchen work surface before curling up on the floor.

Despite the heartbreaking recordings, elsewhere the Price Tag singer joked around in silly selfie-style videos.

It comes after Jessie showed off her growing baby bump in a sweet video shared to Instagram on Friday that documented the different stages of her pregnancy.

Captioning her post, Jessie wrote: ‘I’m so happy and terrified to finally share this… Please be nice to me.

“Honestly, your girl just wants to cry ugly in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle no questions asked.”

The heartwarming clip was set to her own song Sunflower and showed her holding a positive pregnancy test confirming the joy of her baby. While other scenes saw Jessie’s baby scan on a screen.

The video documented Jessie at various stages of her pregnancy, with the excited mother-to-be often tenderly cradling her tummy as she smiled for the video.

The Price Tag hitmaker has yet to reveal her son’s due date.

Jessie’s showbiz fans and friends were quick to comment on the post and congratulate the star.

Stacey Solomon gushed: ‘Oh Jessie I’m so happy for you. Love you.’

While Pixie Lott wrote: ‘Omg jesssssie supermama of the century’.

‘The best news of all,’ commented Paloma Faith.

Kelly Rowland shared: ‘AHHHHHHHHH YELLING CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!’

In April of last year, Jessie confirmed that she was in a new relationship with basketball player Chanan Colman when they kissed on a lunch date in Los Angeles, months after her miscarriage.

The couple first sparked romance rumors in March 2022 on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Caribbean when Chanan joined Jessie for the work trip.

Jessie took to Instagram at the time and looked comfortable with Danish-Israeli professional basketball player Chanan in a group photo on the beach.

Months later, in May, Jessie hinted that the 38-year-old veteran professional athlete is the first couple she’s ever been “properly in love with.”

When she appeared on The Diary of a CEO podcast, the Flashlight hitmaker teased fans about her love life, but kept the details private.

Host Steven Bartlett asked Jessie how many times had she been truly in love and she answered ‘once’, answering in the present tense, hinting that she saw her future decided with Chanan.

She continued: “Because I can really see my life with that person and I’ve never had that before.”

Looking for more details, Steven said: ‘does it sound recent?’, she smiled: ‘Maybe it is.’ but she cheekily added: ‘Maybe it’s not. Who knows? Track.’

Jessie and Chanan have not gone to the official red carpet, nor have they confirmed if they are still together.

Jessie’s exciting news comes after she previously revealed in November 2021 that she had suffered a devastating miscarriage after becoming pregnant with her first child.

The singer took to Instagram to reveal that she had been told she had tragically lost her unborn baby after undergoing her third scan, where doctors couldn’t find a heartbeat.

Jessie told her followers that she had “decided to have a baby on her own” after revealing in October that she had split from her boyfriend of seven months, Max Pham.

The grieving singer said she was “still in shock” but decided to perform in Los Angeles later that week “because singing will help me.”

It comes as Jessie opened up about the “overwhelming” anxieties she faced during the early stages of her pregnancy.

Posting to her Instagram Stories on Saturday morning, Jessie candidly said: “As I lie here (2am) I can’t sleep.”

Thinking of today and the overwhelming amount of love and support I’m feeling. I can’t help but think of all the women and men still struggling with loss and infertility.

“It feels so strange to be on this side after being told I’d never get pregnant, the miscarriage and then being pregnant and how quickly it’s all happening.”

“My mind hasn’t fully processed that it’s actually happening some days, which is why I kept it quiet for so long.”

“The anxiety at first was overwhelming and I felt like I had my eyes closed hoping everything would continue to go well. That at times I still have a lot as I allow myself to feel the joy and celebration of this experience.’

‘I don’t even know what my point is tbh.’

She continued: ‘I’m just still with you and I haven’t forgotten about any of it. I still want to hug anyone who is struggling.

I don’t take a second of this for granted and continue to pray for a safe landing of this magical baby every day.

‘I know I have been blessed with the greatest gift I will ever receive and I pray more than anything that you get yours. However it seems so. Love you.’
