“Our trip in Slovenia isn’t over yet, but this is our last night here in @chocolate_village_by_the_river and I’m embracing every second of it one last time, until we come back soon when it’s just the three of us.

‘Thank you for giving us tranquility, peace and beautiful views to relax. And thank you to everyone here who took such good care of us. We absolutely love it.’

Janette and her husband of six years Aljaž revealed their happy baby news on Instagram in February.

Janette captioned an official photo of a Hello! scattered writing: ‘We are so happy to share our special news!’

The Cuban-American choreographer described her pregnancy in an accompanying interview and admitted that she had struggled to conceive for over two years, leading her to fear it would never happen.

“For the last few years we hadn’t used any protection, but nothing was happening, so we thought IVF was the next best thing to do,” she explained.

‘I’m turning 40 later this year and the NHS provides really good services for women under 40. The doctor said we’d start injections as soon as I got my period, but my period never came.’

‘I know that IVF can be very strenuous on a woman’s body and there’s no guarantee it will work, so to know that this little miracle just came out of a great night we had together is amazing.

“I think the baby decided to freak out mom and dad a little bit before they said, ‘Okay, I’ll be right there.'”

Janette explained how she told Aljaž she was pregnant by handing him a positive pregnancy test and they “cry and hug; it was quite a moment’.

It comes after Janette gave in BBC Morning Live in 2021 that it was a ‘scary decision’ to make, because as a dancer her body is her ‘tool’.

The ballroom champion said the coronavirus crisis made her realize there will never be a ‘perfect’ time to conceive and the couple are now looking forward to becoming parents.
