Bachelor star Holly Kingston has opened up about her fears during the first trimester of her pregnancy.
The 30-year-old reality star revealed on Instagram that she suffered from “anxiety and persistent fear of miscarriage” early in her pregnancy.
During an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Holly, “How was your first trimester? I didn’t expect this.”
“Honestly, really fucking tough. Nausea, morning sickness (all day) and constant fatigue really got to me, but what was much worse for me personally was the anxiety and the very low moods… the constant fear of miscarriage and isolation,” she admitted.
“Do what I didn’t do and lean on the people around you that you can trust.”
“I shut my husband out and tried to manage all the changes myself, which made me very unhappy… and he felt completely helpless,” Holly continued.
‘I can confirm that what many say about the second trimester is true. The annoying symptoms are manageable and I feel like my old, happy self again… until the little one comes and turns me into a sleep-deprived monster.’
Holly’s candid post came after she and husband Jimmy Nicholson recently returned from their babymoon in Greece with friends Sam Beattie and Kieran Pierce.

Before her stay in Greece, she shared her culinary travels in Italy, but had to respond to internet trolls who criticized her diet.
The former winner of The Bachelor shared her delicious dishes while playing tourist in Rome, but not everyone appreciated her choices.
In a post on Instagram Stories, the blonde beauty lashed out after receiving “thousands” of messages about what she ate.
“I’m going to clarify this real quick for anyone following our journey right now because my DMs are a little overwhelming. PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT ON WHAT I SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT EAT, I GOT IT,” she wrote.

“I have a great gynecologist who advises me and I also have a great tool called Google that saves you time messaging and saves me the bombardment,” she continued.
“If you’ve been pregnant and people have given you unsolicited advice, you know how damn stressful and awkward that can be. Imagine that, plus thousands of people you’ve never met insinuating that you’re ignorant or a failure, it’s not fun.”
Holly concluded: ‘Even though these DMs are meant with love, when you receive hundreds of them a day it becomes a dark place for me.
‘Now I’m going to eat a piece of carpaccio with a big jug of raw milk!!’
Jimmy and Holly fell in love during the 2021 season of The Bachelor Australia and tied the knot at his parents’ house in Sydney in August 2023.
