Pregnant Dani Dyer has ‘mum guilt’ with son Santiago ahead of welcoming identical twin girls

She is expecting identical twins with her footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen, 26.

And Dani Dyer, who is already a mother to Santiago two, from her previous relationship with Sammy Kimmence, revealed that she is dealing with some serious “mother’s guilt” right now.

The 26-year-old former Love Island star took to Instagram to share a gallery of photos of her young son as she said that despite the ‘endless guilt’ she was ‘excited’ to grow her clan.

She wrote: ‘I’m so excited for our family to grow… I feel so lucky and blessed to have 2 more babies… but I feel like I have so many worries running through my head that I need to just get them all out.

‘I remember one of my friends had a second baby and she told me about the guilt of the second baby she had and I never understood it until I got pregnant again. Honestly, the mother’s guilt never ends, I don’t think so.

‘I have a lot of worries’: The 26-year-old Love Island star, who is mum to Santiago two, took to Instagram to share snaps of her young son as she said despite the ‘endless guilt’ she is ‘thrilled’ to grow your clan.

Dani also detailed her birth plan, as she “has booked to have a planned C-section” after having an emergency one with Santiago.

She opened up that she “instantly felt guilty” because of the recovery time after the procedure, as she won’t be able to do her normal activities with her son.

The reality star continued: ‘I’ve been booked in to have a planned C-section. Because I had an emergency C-section before they felt the safest way would be to have the twins delivered by C-section again.

“Especially since they are identical twins, it is always a little more risky. I always wanted to have a vaginal birth, but I knew I had to listen to my consultant.

‘As soon as I found out that I should have a C-section, I instantly felt so guilty and worried about recovery.

I still want to be able to pick Santi up and run and do the activities I usually do, but since Santi is still little, I really can’t explain why mom can’t do her usual activities.

“A lot is changing, but I still want him to think that I can be the best mom I can be.”

Dani has reached out to other mums who have dealt with the same guilt on an app and has also asked her followers on social media for advice.

She added: ‘With this guilt and worry hanging over my head, I went on the @peanut app to see how other moms have coped. I just wanted to talk to someone who felt the same way.

The @peanut moms assured me that it’s totally natural to feel this way and that Santi will understand more than I think and will learn so quickly that soon we will settle down as a family.
