Powerball winner is revealed after winning mega Lotto prize

A working Australian mother says she will finally be able to quit her job after claiming $40 million in last night’s Powerball draw.

The winner, from Echuca, earned the only national top division winning entry in Powerball Drawing 1394 on Thursday, February 2, taking home the entire $40 million jackpot.

The $40 million win is also the largest top division prize won in any Australian lottery game in 2023.

The winning player confessed that she was completely surprised by her new billionaire status.

‘Oh Lord! Oh Lord! I can’t believe it. I thought it was a scam! she exclaimed.

‘I’m so nervous, I feel really strange. My whole body has gone numb!
