A Sydney woman has claimed her $22 million Lotto prize and told everyone at work as soon as she found out.
She was the only Division 1 winner nationally in Powerball drawing 1479, which was drawn on Thursday, winning a whopping $22,207,849.80.
The Lott staff arrived at the hard-working mother’s door just moments after she checked her ticket.
“I can’t believe it. I saw that I won, and I thought it was only $11, then I scrolled down and realized I won the whole thing.
“I just went to work and I couldn’t help but shout to everyone that I had won $20 million.
One of the guys said, ‘You’re on the shout now.’
‘I don’t know how I’m going to concentrate for the rest of the day. Luckily my day isn’t too busy.
“This means so much to me. Buying a house and helping my family is my biggest priority, but I would also like to do some traveling.”
The winning numbers were 32, 12, 4, 9, 10, 24, and 7. The Powerball number was 15.
The ticket was sold through the Lott app and not in the store. The photo shows employees at a Lotto newsagent
