Powerball numbers: Aussie wins the entire $40 million Powerball prize

A mystery Aussie has won the Powerball jackpot of $40 million and may not know it yet.

No word yet on where the winner lives, just not in NSW or ACT.

The winning numbers for Thursday’s draw were 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21 and 29 and the Powerball was 18.

Lottery officials are still waiting for the winner to come forward and claim the life-changing prize money.

Participants are encouraged to register their numbers online to be notified immediately if they have won.

“If you win the jackpot, you want to know about it right away,” spokesman Matt Hart previously said.

“By registering your entry, we will be able to contact you immediately after the drawing to confirm the news that will change your life.”

The winner is urged to contact officials as soon as possible as it typically takes up to two weeks for the cash prize to be mailed to them.

Division One winners have the option of receiving their money by check or electronic funds transfer.

The victory comes a month after a woman from Echuca, Victoria, took home $40 million after winning the Powerball on February 2.

The winning player confessed that she was completely surprised by her new billionaire status.

‘Oh Lord! Oh Lord! I can’t believe it. I thought it was a scam! she exclaimed.

‘This just doesn’t feel real. How do I know if this is real?!

‘I’m so nervous, I feel really strange. My whole body has gone numb!

‘My husband and I couldn’t sleep at all last night. We walked from one side to the other.

He said he planned to quit his job and spend more time with his family.

“It’s really going to take a while to sink in. It won’t feel real until the money is in my bank account,” he said.

‘My husband and I have these goals set and we were wondering how we were going to achieve them, but now we don’t have to worry anymore!

‘I can not believe that this is happening!’
