Powerball $100million jackpot numbers revealed

Millions of Australians are scrambling to find tickets in the hope of a life-changing windfall after Thursday night’s $100 million Powerball draw.

The jackpot has been hit and one lucky winner has won $100 million.

This year’s jackpot was the third largest prize and the sixth largest in Australian lottery history.

The winning numbers for Powerball drawing 1475 are 16, 24, 11, 4, 10, 18, and 23. The Powerball drawing was 6.

More than half of Australia’s adult population were expected to buy a ticket for Thursday night’s draw.

“If just one person takes home the full $100 million prize on Thursday night, they will not only receive a significant boost to their bank account, but will also share the crown of Australia’s third biggest lottery winner ever,” said Matt Hart, spokesman for The Lott.

It was expected that one in two Australian adults would buy a ticket for Thursday night’s Powerball draw

“Only five Australians know what it’s like to win a lottery prize of $100 million or more, but maybe we can add to that on Thursday night.

The last six-figure jackpot was in May, when an Adelaide man became the biggest lottery winner in Australian history with a $150 million windfall.

Eleven Powerball Division 1 winners have won more than $492 million so far this year, with five in New South Wales ($210 million), four in Queensland ($120 million) and one each in South Australia ($150 million) and Victoria ($12 million).

More than half of the winning entries were QuickPicks and nearly half were PowerHit entries, a Powerball entry that guarantees the Powerball number needed to win Division 1.
