The EFL warned last month that it would not approve the takeover unless Mmobuosi provided further details, saying it had “previously raised a number of additional inquiries with the proposed buyer and the club.”
Mmobuosi is now reported to have provided further details on the business model, should its acquisition be approved.
It has been claimed that he provided evidence to the EFL about county court rulings relating to rent due on various properties in Hertfordshire, which have reportedly been settled.
Mmobuosi must pass the EFL owners and directors test if he wants to complete the acquisition.
Mmobuosi recently said he was “very confident that it’s going to get done.”
The entrepreneur is the founder and group CEO of IT service management company Tingo Inc, the parent company of Tingo Mobile.
The company’s stock value was reported to have plummeted from $8.3 billion in February 2021 to $430 million, a 94 percent drop in one year.
