Post Malone, real name Austin Post, recently set the record straight about his weight loss to his Instagram to dispel rumors that he uses narcotics.
“I wanted to say I don’t do drugs, I’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and I would assume performing on stage,” he said, nodding to the pounds he lost and high energy during his concerts.
“I have a lot of fun performing and have never felt so healthy.”
The rapper then surmised that “dad life” helped him kick soda and “eat better” so he can “be around for a long time” for his baby daughter, whose name has not been made public.
“Next is smoking and brewing, but I like to think of myself as a patient man,” he said of his latest vices.
The father-of-one concluded his lengthy caption by saying he’s been spending time in the “studio working on new music” and that his “brain is in a super dope place.”
The 10-time Grammy nominee also elated that he is the “happiest” he’s “been in a long time” and thanked his fans for their patience and support.

His tour schedule is also said to have contributed to his weight loss.
Malone confirmed that he and his girlfriend – now engaged – were expecting their first child in an interview with TMZ on May 3.
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and I’ve been sad since I could remember. Time to take care of my body and my family and friends and spread as much love as possible every day,” he said at the time.
The couple eventually held a private party in Southern California to celebrate the happy baby news.
Malone has been trying to keep his personal life out of public view, so he has yet to confirm the identity of his wife-to-be, though he is rumored to be in a relationship with Korean rapper MLMA, which stands for MeLoveMeALot.
In June 2022, Malone subtly revealed that he recently welcomed his first child while appearing on The Howard Stern Show.
When answering a question Howard had asked about the SiriusXM series, Malone described his morning routine, saying he “kissed his baby daughter” before leaving the house.

“I went and kissed my baby girl,” Post Malone told Howard Stern as he explained how he started his day.
Howard wondered if the Rockstar rapper was talking about a girlfriend or a real baby, to which he replied, “No, that’s my daughter.”
Prior to the birth of his first child, the rapper admitted during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that he is “incredibly pumped” for fatherhood.
But Malone also expressed concern about the current state of the world and how it’s “a crazy place to raise a kid.”
