The 29-year-old rapper and his fiancé Jamie welcomed their daughter two years ago. They haven’t officially revealed her name, but she has her initials DDP tattooed on his forehead. Post says her birth was a turning point for him.
In conversation with Anthony Mason about CBS Sunday Morninghe said, ‘I will never forget her. If you heard her cry, you will never forget her!

Post explained that he was dealing with “loneliness” four years ago, saying, “Four years ago I was on a difficult path. It was horrible. Get up, have a good cry, drink and then go live your life.”
Adding: ‘And then you lie down, drink some more, and have a good cry. And then you’re like, “I have to wake up tomorrow and do this again.” And then I don’t feel like doing it anymore.’
Post Malone continued, “And it’s the most amazing thing. I had to [do it] for myself, to find out who I am.’
And Post also shared his special relationship with his fans, saying, “I don’t want people to feel the way I felt. And I know they do. And I’m here and I’m on stage and I just want everyone to feel welcome and feel loved. And that’s the most important thing to me.”
Post previously shared how becoming a father helped him curb his partying habits.
Last year, he told Apple Music: “Having a baby has put a lot of things into perspective and it’s really slowed me down a lot, in terms of partying and going out and being crazy. I’ve never really had the time or the bandwidth to fully experience the journey. So I guess that’s what I’m trying to do now.
“I love hanging out with my baby, hanging out with the lady, playing video games, and working on projects in my garage. That’s my favorite thing to do.”
