Pornhub has revealed the most searched for movies and characters on the adult site in 2024 – as an expert revealed why you should embrace your kinks.
Comic book villain Harley Quinn, who has been played on the big screen by both Margot Robbie and Lady Gaga, took the number one spot.
The character beat out both the Star Wars franchise and the HBO series Game of Thrones, which came in second and third on the list, respectively.
The blue aliens from the Avatar films were the fourth most searched for movie or character this year, followed by Harry Potter, Wonder Woman and Disney’s The Incredibles.
Shrek, Power Rangers and Spider-Man were also among the other children’s titles to rank in the top 30 Pornhub movies and character searches in 2024.
While lusting after cartoon characters may seem strange to some, professional sexologist Jessica Toscano exclusively told DailyMail.com that most fantasies like this are normal and healthy.
“Fantasy and kink really go hand in hand, because kink is essentially acting out fantasies,” she explained.
“Exploring kink usually allows for greater intimacy and pleasure in a safe, communicative, consensual environment,” she continued.

In Pornhub’s global annual report, “hentai” — a popular animated form of Japanese pornography — was the most searched term in the US, taking over the top spot from “lesbian,” which held sway in 2023, 2022, 2019 and 2017.
‘Hentai’ also reached number one worldwide.
The Montreal-headquartered company said of the finding: “Around the world, people are showing increasing interest in this type of content, including video game characters, anime-style characters and 3D animation, to name a few.”
Compared to other countries, the US showed particular interest this year in ‘latina’, which rose two places to become the second most searched term, while ‘milf’ followed in third place.
Pornhub added that “milf” is consistently in the top three worldwide.
The term “Asian” rose two places to land in fourth place, while “ebony” remained in fifth place, the same as in 2023.
The term ‘lesbian’ took a big dive in 2024, dropping five places to sixth place compared to last year.

Looking at the trending searches, Pornhub revealed that ‘mature-50 plus’ was ‘popular’, up 385 percent this year.
Meanwhile, the number of ‘business trips’ increased by 331 percent, ‘fat and round’ by 251 percent and ‘secret cheating’ by 211 percent.
Pornhub theorized that the rise of “business travel” was due to people becoming re-enamored with work with the return of hybrid and office work.
A spokesperson said: ‘It’s one thing to sit behind a screen during meetings, but when you’re back in the office those sparks can turn into flames. And our statisticians saw this happen in real time.”
Elsewhere, Pornhub also revealed that 27-year-old Violet Myers was the top porn star of the year in the US.
Former Marine Alex Adams came in second, while Chicago native Lana Rhoades came in third.
Globally, Pornhub found there was a surge of interest in “wives,” which the company attributed to the TV reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
