Porn star Phoenix Marie sues Pornhub owner Aylo claiming she was forced to carry on with orgy scene with film’s director after her costar overdosed and had to go to hospital

A top adult film actress is suing Pornhub owners Aylo and a director after she was allegedly forced to go through with an orgy scene after her co-star overdosed on set.

Melissa Hutchison, who stars as Phoenix Marie, claims bosses tried to blacklist her after the traumatic incident in 2023, despite actually saving the actress’ life.

She is suing director Danny Martin, along with Aylo and others, for $80 million, claiming she was then subjected to a smear campaign that led to her missing out on major brand deals with sex toy maker Fleshlight, among others.

She says her ordeal began when her co-star, an actress named Zaawaadi, took too much lithium during a shoot in Barcelona.

Hutchison claims director and fellow porn star Martin, aka Danny D, then forced her to continue with a scene despite her castmate almost dying.

‘Danny D forcibly grabbed Hutchison and banned her from leaving the set and demanded she finish the scene […] she was forced to have sex by Danny D despite repeatedly saying no,” the lawsuit states.

She also claims that Martin hesitated to call an ambulance and later “threw her to the ground and said ‘we need to get the story straight’.”

The trauma of the situation, according to Hutchison, left her with “anxiety, panic attacks, sleepless nights and sexual dysfunction.”

She also claims executives tried to push the lithium on her, falsely portraying her as an “unhinged, grieving mother” who had become dependent on the drug as a cure after her daughter’s death in 2019.

Hutchison’s documents allege that the lithium belonged to Martin’s girlfriend, but that Martin started a “false story that Hutchison had poisoned and nearly killed Zaawaadi.”

“However, instead of looking at the facts, the porn conglomerate launched a cover-up; “The executives made Hutchison a scapegoat for the life-threatening incident on one of their sets,” Hutchison’s law firm Kerr Simpson said.

Hutchison says she refused to accept a $60,000 NDA payout and claims Aylo suffered financial harm as a result.

She claims the porn conglomerate canceled shoots and signings and deleted her and buried her in videos on Pornhub and other sites they own.

This led to Hutchison becoming isolated from her friends and colleagues who fear retaliation from Aylo, so much so that she cannot find a makeup artist willing to work with her, the lawsuit said.

Aylo is one of the largest distributors of online pornography and “controls an estimated 90% of all content production and distribution,” the lawsuit said.

This means it has a monopoly position, allowing it to “inflict significant damage on actors with minimal effort,” the documents say.

Hutchison estimates that Aylo’s actions have cost her nearly $2 million since the shoot, with tens of millions more in expected losses due to the continued manipulation of her algorithm and damage to her brand.

Hutchison says she also suffers PTSD from the sexual assault by Danny D., which has been both “personally and professionally devastating,” according to her law firm.

Hutchison’s attorneys filed suit in Nevada in February, but it has since been moved to federal court at the defendants’ request over jurisdictional issues.

The original complaint seeks $30 million, but her lawyers say they plan to file for $80 million, according to court records. Daily beast.

“Melissa saved a girl’s life on set and was rewarded by Aylo and Ethical Capital Partners with physical harassment, assault, humiliation, alienation, significant financial losses, and a smear campaign that unconscionably focused on her dead child,” a representative from Kerr Simpson.

“We look forward to helping Melissa get justice, not only to reclaim her daughter’s memory, but also to hold the Aylo-Ethical Capital Partners Big Porn conglomerate accountable and prevent them from using their unregulated monopoly power continue to destroy people’s lives.’

The adult actress also claims that Zaawaadi has been intimidated and silenced since she saved her life.

Hutchison has 20 years of experience in the industry and is considered one of the highest paid porn stars.
