Porn star Jesse Jane’s cause of death revealed more than six months after she was found unconscious alongside boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller inside their Oklahoma home

The cause of death of porn star Jesse Jane has finally been revealed, more than six months after she was found unconscious next to her boyfriend.

The 43-year-old porn star, whose real name is Cindy Taylor, and her partner, Brett Hasenmueller, were found dead by authorities in late January after police were called to their address in the town of Moore, Oklahoma for a welfare check.

Officers said Hasenmuller had not shown up for work for several days when they entered the home and found them both dead.

It has since been revealed that both Jane and her boyfriend suffered accidental overdoses of fentanyl and cocaine. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner for Oklahoma noted that her body was already decomposed when it was found, according to the Oklahoman.

The full report is expected to be published on July 17.

Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Jane signed with Digital Playground in 2002 and went on to star in Pirates and Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge.

According to TMZ, the films cost approximately $8 million to produce and are considered the most expensive adult films to date.

This fame gave her star status and she appeared on the covers of magazines such as FHM, Maxim and Front.

Her success led her to appear on the TV show Entourage, alongside Kevin Connolly and Adrian Grenier, among others.

Jane would later join Playboy and appear on their popular live show ‘Night Calls’ and host their ‘Naughty Amateur Home Videos’.

Her work in the industry earned her a place in the AVN and XRCO Hall of Fame.

“I got into porn at the perfect time, when porn stars mattered,” she said told GQ in 2018.

“Everyone knew who you were because they had to buy your product, DVDs and everything,” Jane explains.

‘Porn was so naughty, but everyone still watched it.’

Jane was married to porn actor Rick Patrick for seven years, but the couple divorced in 2012.

A few years later, in 2020, Jane was arrested for allegedly assaulting her then-boyfriend during an alcohol-fueled argument between two couples.

The star was booked into Cleveland County Jail on domestic violence charges following the alleged incident.

Police who went to the couple’s home that morning were met in the driveway by the porn star’s boyfriend, who was suffering from a bleeding left eye and bite wounds on his left hand.

When Jane was interviewed by police, she reportedly gave a different version of events, claiming that her boyfriend picked her up by the neck and threw her against the wall.

She leaves behind one son.
