A popular television series has been cut from Dave after two series.
The reality show Judge Romesh has been canceled by the broadcaster five years after its first broadcast.
Romesh’s show was a comedy version of Judge Judy and Judge Rinder, with comedian Tom Davis as his bailiff and Jessica Knappett as his clerk.
Returning for a second series in 2019, the premise of the show was dealing with members of the public and their interesting and often trivial disputes.
Talking to the Sun at the BAFTAs on Sunday, he confirmed there is “no long-term plan” for the series’ return.

He said, ‘I don’t have a plan, there’s no long-term plan. I just float from one thing to another until I figure it out and then in years to come you’ll be in the park saying, ‘That guy looks like Romesh Ranganathan.’

Despite Judge Romesh not returning, the comedian’s career is still going from strength to strength.
In 2021, he replaced Anne Robinson as the host of The Weakest Link and now hopes to film another celebrity version like he enjoyed last year.
Romesh told the publication, “I think people are comfortable with celebrities being roasted. We’re finding our way with it and we wanted to see how it went.’
The comedian revealed he wasn’t sure how hosting The Weakest Link would go, but he’s been enjoying it.
He has also appeared on panel shows such as Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week and was a comedian on Live At The Apollo.
On Sunday, Romesh and Rob Beckett co-hosted the BAFTAs, which kicked off with a look at the BBC, the Gary Lineker controversy and Holly and Phil’s queue-gate.
The pair kicked off the ceremony at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday night, with shows like The Crown, This Is Going To Hurt and Bad Sisters duking it out.

Beckett said: ‘As we all know this year there have been one or two issues with the subject of BBC and balance.
‘It’s not easy for comedians to present an awards show on the BBC. We have to be funny. We must be professional and also offer balanced points of view. This booking is perfect for balance.
“I see a room filled with some of the hardest working and most talented people on TV, all driven by passion and love for their craft.”
Ranganathan added, “While I see a room full of shark-eyed narcissists.”
The two then sounded in unison: ‘Balance.’
Beckett gestured to Imelda Staunton, who is in the running for the best actress award for her role as the late queen in The Crown: ‘She’s been nominated for her role in The Crown.
“Apparently Holly and Phil looked at that a few days before everyone else. A little head start for you, early doors.’
The presenters of This Morning were criticized on social media after seeing the late Queen laid out in state without taking part in the public queue.

They later insisted that they would “never jump in line” and that their visit was to report on the event.
Rob later joked: ‘A few months ago we were hoping The Traitors would return to BBC One soon.
Well, that’s what some newspapers called the Match Of The Day presenters anyway. Are we tense? I think we may be tense.’
Lineker was briefly suspended as the host of Match Of The Day in March for his criticism of the government’s asylum policy on Twitter, but came back on air following a boycott by top on-air talent.
