Product Safety Australia has launched a recall for bottles of the Gray Goose Limited Edition 1L Night Vision Northern Lights Edition
The product, which was available nationwide at BWS (pictured) and Dan Murphy stores, was sold between October 1, 2023 and December 21, 2023.
The product features a novelty light that illuminates the bottle.
The recall occurred because the lamp is powered by a button battery that is not sufficiently secured and accessible to young children.
“There is a risk of suffocation, severe burns, or death to young children if they access, swallow or insert button/button batteries,” the recall notice warns.
“Serious or fatal injuries can occur in two hours or less.”
The affected products have the lot code L23039GE2, which can be found on the bottom of the bottle.
Consumers are urged to dispose of the bottle safely or return it to the place of purchase for a refund. Those who have received the product are urged to contact Gray Goose Australia.
