A popular Australian YouTuber known as Pretty Pastel Please has tragically passed away at the age of 30.
The devastating news was confirmed Friday afternoon in an Instagram post shared to the social media personality’s account.
The post shared that the YouTuber, whose real name is Alexandra or ‘Alex’, died ‘suddenly’ last month as tributes poured in for the beloved star.
Alex had a loyal fan base on Instagram and YouTube, where she shared fashion purchases, product reviews, and travel videos.
Her loved ones said they would hold a memorial service for her fans on YouTube and Instagram, saying her death came as a “shock.”
The post read: ‘Today we have a devastating announcement to make. It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that Alex, known to many as Pretty Pastel Please, has passed away.
“Her passing was sudden, unexpected and devastating to all who knew her. This is a shock to us all, and her family and friends have asked for privacy as they deal with their grief.
“We ask that you respect their wishes. They appreciate your support, but need time to recover in peace.

Her fans were quick to take to the comments to share their condolences and messages of support for Alex’s family and friends.
Several fans also reported that Alex had been the target of cruel online trolls in recent years, expressing their dismay at the news.
Someone wrote: ‘My heart is in my stomach, I am so saddened by this news and praying for her family. I can’t believe it. I loved her so much, she was my comfort to look at.’
