A Popeyes employee went berserk and ransacked the restaurant after reportedly not getting paid for a month.
In a viral video posted to TikTok, the unknown staffer angrily cut open bags of raw chicken and furiously threw unused food around the kitchen.
The Chicago store was completely destroyed by the employee, who emptied the register and cut the telephone wires to end his rampage.
More than 101,000 people have watched the clip since it was posted Wednesday, with many questioning whether or not the vicious tirade was an overreaction to being left unpaid.
The video, titled “This is what happens when you don’t get paid for a month,” began with the man cutting open a bag of chicken over a pile of raw meat on the floor.
After emptying the chicken and spreading it across the back of the restaurant, he shoves onto boxes of fries, toppling them across the tile floor as well.
In a separate scene, a puddle of what appear to be cracked eggs is emptied from a plastic bin, next to a huge mess of food and overturned carts.
Unused sandwiches, heaps of raw chicken and discarded boxes are seen, while the TikTok poster can be heard in the background screaming at the stunning mess.
“What in the real f***” she exclaimed.
The footage ends with clips of cut phone lines and emptied cash registers, with the TikTok clip noting, “At least he got his money.”
“My job so ghetto” added the poster of the viral video, which appears to be the irate employee’s colleague.

TikTok users were quick to voice their opinions about the disaster, with many split on whether they would have a similar reaction if their wages were denied.
“Who hangs around unpaid for a month?” one person asked. “First missed check and I’m gone… and of course he’s a destructive animal.”
“Now he has to pay for the damage,” commented another, calling the situation “insane.”
Many viewers seemed to agree that the frenzy wasn’t worth the satisfaction in the end.
“I understand his anger, but now he’s definitely not getting paid,” said a third. “This is a business, he could have sued and got a nice settlement.”
It is unclear which of the popular fast-food franchise’s 2,600 outlets was attacked, nor whether a police report was filed following the incident.
The Chicago Police Department and Popeyes did not immediately respond when DailyMail.com contacted them.
