That’s right, it’s Jedward!

Despite only coming sixth on The X Factor 15 years ago, Jedward – twins John and Edward Grimes – built a successful career in showbusiness after being taken under the wing of Louis Walsh.

With Louis as their mentor, the identical Irish twins became the talent show’s most memorable duo with their matching quiffs and bizarre outfits.

Their sky-high hair, matching outfits and personalities became the signature look of the Dublin pop duo – who were hailed as ‘role models’ by a proud Louis – and they quickly went from novelty to superstars.

Under Louis’ leadership, Jedward’s first two albums went platinum in Ireland, while also representing their country in 2011 and 2012.

Irish music mogul Walsh managed the duo between 2009 and 2013, but things turned sour when Walsh described the duo in 2016 as ‘the most embarrassing thing that could happen to him’.

This sparked a bitter seven-year feud between Jedward and Walsh, which culminated in the brothers branding Walsh an “evil manipulator” after he told housemates the pair were “despicable” during Tuesday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother .

“I’m so overwhelmed doing this. I really feel like I’m in Oasis doing a huge stadium tour,” Edward said.

‘I think they literally took over my body. This experience was absolutely mind-boggling. I will never forget this day.’

John added: “I channel the music, I challenge the vibrations. I’m ready to get out there and write some bangers.”

Edward started imitating Oasis as he said, “The only difference between us and Jedward is the hair.”

“We literally saw the bond that Jedward had together, and they’ve been doing that for about 15 years now,” John added.

‘No fights, no big fights. We said, “You know what? Let’s get the band back together. Let’s be more like Jedward. Let’s get the music rolling. We’re doing it for the fans.”

Liam and Noel will reportedly rake in a combined £6million for each of the 33 stadium gigs on their sell-out tour next year, but ‘they have to perform to get paid’.

It will be the first time they have performed on stage together since splitting in 2009 following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

The Gallaghers will also reportedly be kept apart when not on stage in a “military-style operation” during their highly anticipated reunion tour.

There will be separate changing rooms and transport to avoid clashes and the resulting ‘PR and financial nightmare’.
