A 911 call obtained by: CLASS depicts the moment when a Nevada woman told a dispatcher that she had killed her mother by cutting her neck.
Hend Bustami, 28, of Las Vegas, called the police around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 and calmly described how she killed her mother, Afaf Hussanen, 61.
Bustami, who rose to fame in August when she accused officers of arresting her for looking too pretty while arrested for theft, is now charged with her mother’s brutal death.
The newly discovered audio begins with a dispatcher asking what the purpose of the call was and what kind of help the woman needed.
Bustami told emergency room she broke a table over her mother’s head and ‘chopped her neck’
‘Do you need the police, fire brigade or medical help?’ the 911 dispatcher asks the woman from Las Vegas.
“Um, medical,” she replies. “I think I killed my mother.”
Bustami gives the dispatcher her mother’s address before finally being asked why she thinks she “killed her mother.”
‘Because I did. I killed her,” Bustami replies.
‘How did you do that?’ asks the dispatcher.
“I broke the table on her head,” the woman says.
Bustami then tells the dispatcher that she was still at her mother’s house and reconfirms the address.
At that point, the emergency room asks, “Okay, what did you do to her?”
‘I think I hurt my mother,’ coordinators believe Bustami told them before hanging up the phone
“I killed her,” the 28-year-old responds calmly.
“How did you kill her, you said something about a table?” asks the dispatcher.
“I broke the table on her head. I broke the table on her head and cut her neck,” said Bustami.
“What did you cut?” asks the dispatcher.
“Her neck off,” the woman replies.

Bustami made headlines in August after she was arrested at the Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas after attempting to skip a tab at a Chili’s restaurant.
The woman was reportedly belligerent intoxicated and police said she claimed she was being harassed during her arrest.

She was booked on August 31 for misconduct.
LVMPD said they received a report that Bustami walked out on a tab at Chili’s restaurant at the airport, and officers later found the woman “belligerent” after stalling operations at a security checkpoint.
When the officers took her into custody, they said Bustami threatened to spit on them for calling them “perverts” and claimed they were “trying to rape her because they’ve never seen anyone so pretty.”
She also had a battery charge in Las Vegas in June, where she was incarcerated in the Clark County Jail and later released, according to 8 News Now.

In addition, police have been called to the family home at least 12 times this year alone — seven for “family problems” and one for a suicide attempt, 8NewsNow reported.
A neighbor, Andres Moreno, told the network that the family’s house was the “loudest” in the area.
“Usually they were yelling or fighting in the backyard at 10 p.m. or later,” he said.
“Usually the eldest daughter and the mother came in. Of course, shortly after the yelling, the police would be involved and everything would, you know, settle down. And a week later it would happen again.’

He added that Bustami was often seen performing “strange” in the neighborhood — asking strangers for a ride, entering the neighbors’ open garages, and scattering her belongings outside.
“She would come out and literally spin in her driveway, sing songs or talk to herself in her driveway, or just walk up and down the street mumbling to herself,” Moreno told 8NewsNow.
“I believe she had mental health issues and she desperately needed help and maybe chose not to get it. Or, you know, who am I to say, but there was clearly something wrong with her.’
Bustami is a graduate of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and holds a degree in Hospitality Administration and Management, according to her LinkedIn account.
