This is when police stormed a TUI plane after a mother reportedly refused to put a seatbelt on her child.
Footage shared on Twitter shows officers boarding the entire flight as they tell angry passengers, “We’ll handle it, mate.”
The flight was scheduled to depart from Kos in Greece to Manchester airport at 1.15pm yesterday but was not due to take off until six hours later, leaving passengers ‘exhausted’.
Witnesses claimed there were further delays after that due to the disturbance caused by the mother, which allegedly caused the pilot to abort a landing and circle over the Peak District.
The woman, who reportedly refused to comply with the illuminated seatbelt signs and fasten her child, was escorted from the plane after landing.

The flight was due to depart from Kos in Greece to Manchester airport at 1.15pm yesterday, but departed about six hours late
That’s what a person on board told me Manchester evening news the woman had refused to strap in her child because they were ‘terrified’, prompting the airline’s staff to refuse to take off.
The passenger said, “She eventually did and we took off. When we were airborne everything seemed fine and there was not a peep from them.
“When we landed, the flight was already delayed, so everyone was in a terrible mood. Then it all started.
“They went around again checking the seat belts and she screamed that she wouldn’t restrain her child and she was terrified.”
They added that passengers were “yelling and cursing at her,” telling her to sit down and that she was “selfish.”
Witnesses said the captain then came over the Tannoy and reported that the plane would “circle in the air.”
When it finally landed, the woman was escorted by officers.
The plane finally landed at Manchester Airport at 9:46 pm, hours later than planned.
