Romanian police seized cars worth a total of almost £1.2million from Andrew Tate’s Bucharest home this morning.
Officers recovered a Ferrari Stradale SF90 with a plug-in hybrid engine and a conventionally powered Lamborghini Huracan from the back of two trucks.
Both supercars can reach speeds of over 200 miles per hour and are worth £380,000 and £235,000 respectively.
A third car, a Lada Riva, was also removed from the site. The Riva was based on a 1960s Fiat 124 and has a cult following.
Unlike the Ferrari and the Lamborghini, the Lada would struggle to reach 80 mph
Romanian police removed this Ferrari Stradale SF 90 from Andrew Tate’s Bucharest home earlier today. The car is estimated to be worth £380,000 and has a top speed of over 200mph
This Lada Riva was also put on the back of the truck. The Soviet-era car was based on the original design of the Fiat 124
This Lamborghini Huracan was also put on the back of a lorry. It’s worth around £235k
Andrew Tate, originally from Luton, Bedfordshire, lives in Bucharest, Romania, where he is currently under house arrest
The attacks occurred two days after Tate and his brother were placed under 30-day house arrest.
The Public Prosecution Service is investigating a major new case involving allegations of human trafficking of minors and sex with minors.
On Wednesday, prosecutors arrested six people, including Tate, 37, and his brother Tristan Tate, 36, after masked officers searched four homes in Bucharest and nearby Ilfov county.
The Public Prosecution Service had asked the court to keep the brothers in custody for 30 days.
Tristan has been placed under judicial supervision, which usually involves geographical restrictions and periodic reporting to the police.
The brothers’ spokesman, Mateea Petrescu, responded to the decision by saying that the judge rejected the prosecutors’ request because of the brothers’ “exemplary behavior” during their previous pretrial detention in a separate case. The brothers deny all charges against them and “remain committed to proving their innocence.”
The Tate brothers, both former kickboxers and dual British-American nationals, are already awaiting trial in Romania in a separate human trafficking case, along with two Romanian women. Romanian prosecutors formally charged all four last year.
In the new case, Romania’s anti-organized crime agency DIICOT said it was investigating allegations of human trafficking, including trafficking of minors, sexual intercourse with a minor, forming an organized criminal group, money laundering and influencing statements. The alleged crimes date back to between 2014 and 2024.
Later photographs showed that this Mercedes S-Class, worth over £120,000, had been stolen
Police also seized a Ferrari 812 Competizone – with German registration plates – from the Tate complex – worth £450,000
In addition to the cars, investigators seized a motorcycle, laptops, money and data storage devices
Andrew Tate, who has 9.9 million followers on the social media platform X, is known for expressing misogynistic views online and has repeatedly claimed that prosecutors have no evidence against him and that there is a political conspiracy to silence him. He has previously been banned from several social media platforms for misogynistic views and hate speech.
During Wednesday’s police operations, which also included a search of the Tate brothers’ large estate near Bucharest, authorities seized 16 luxury vehicles, a motorcycle, laptops, thousands of dollars in cash, luxury watches and data drives.
The latest case against the Tates is yet another string of legal problems against them.
